Mist Form still doesn't have CD reduction
They bugged out magnetic grasps ability to make fire auras too so I’m not surprised that eles only got bug fixes that are nerfs and all the buff ones are still bugged out (if not adding new ones).
Someone in another thread said Dragon’s Tooth isn’t a blast finisher anymore. Did they screw up that fix as well?
Magnetic Grasp through RoF still gives Fire Aura. Just logged in and tested it after reading this post. Don’t say kitten that isn’t accurate.

I was playing last night and it did not. I tested it several times. There is a thread on this bug. You see the animation of the fire aura but one does not actually proc unless they pushed a new build that fixes the issue over the last 8 hours.

As far as I’ve tested it, you get the Fire Aura visual but none of traited effects from Zephyr’s Boon, Elemental Shielding, etc.
Here, I just went and took some screen caps of my juvenile cats for you. :p Notice how the lightning aura and corresponding boons appear but the equivalents do not appear for fire.
I just logged in and tested this – mist form is on a proper 60s cd w/ cantrip mastery.
Unless there was a hotfix within the last 2 hours idk what you all are talking about.

Same for me.
Cantrip Mastery works with Mist Form. Tested in the Mists.
FOR CLARITY RE: MISTFORM
It works in the mists (proper 60s cd when traited).
It doesn’t work in PvE (cd remains at 75s when traited)

That is awesome. I love the Quality Assurance in this game…

Why am I not surpised!!!!
All these dumb changes are to balance tPvP anyway, they don’t give a rat’s kitten about WvW and PvE.
Except tPvP is a mess and by the time it’s balanced there will be few people left playing it. Given the amount of competitive core features that are missing, the whole thing feels mostly like an afterthought.
And they shouldn’t give a rats kitten about WvW/PvE.
PvE is easy, and if you’re good enough your build doesn’t really matter that much. WvW is a zergfest where the amount of players present in one place is more important than their individual skill, class, or gear level.
If they want the game to be an e-sport (not likely at this point, IMO, but anyway) they should be balancing for pvp. That’s what the game was advertised as. A PvP game, just like it’s predecessor.

Oh silly me for wanting to play WvW and PvE and have a good, all around Staff support build. I should stop worrying about playing a build I find fun and effective apparently, because game’s are certainly not about fun are they?
I just checked myself and yeah it seems that the cooldown reduction only works in sPvP (the heart of the mists) while the skill is unaffected by the cooldown reduction in PvE and WvW.
Is this intended? or it’s a bug?

If we’re lucky, they’ll “fix” the tooltip in the next patch.

+1 LOL
Mistform only receives a cooldown reduction from cantrip mastery in PVP only. The tooltip has been now updated to reflect this.
This appears to have been fixed in yesterday’s patch. At the very least, the tooltip reports a 60-second cooldown when you have the Cantrip Mastery trait outside of PvP. I didn’t time it to see how long it actually took.

no fix… the tooltip was like that since the initial patch… but when u use the skill the CD start from 75 rather than 60

Turn on the option to display skill cooldowns, enable Cantrip Mastery and activate Mist Form. In PvE areas, the cooldown timer starts at 75 seconds.
This really isn’t that hard.

Yes it is, you shush.
So any word at all on this being fixed properly yet? (i’m guessing not), i finally started leveling my Elemental again and just hit 70 and noticed this when i selected mist form.
As others have said, the tooltip does state 60 seconds when the 20% reduction trait is selected, but as soon as you active mist form the cooldown goes strait to 75 seconds (and if you hover over any cantrap they all reset to default cooldowns for the duration of mist form).
Zarturo: Elemental – Desolation.
