Traits i go for 10 points to to Air Magic (zephyr’s boons), 30 points to Water Magic (Cleansing Wave, Shard of Ice, Powerful Aura) and 30 points to Arcane (Arcane Mastery/Elemental Attunement, Elemental Attunement/Arcane Energy, Evasive Arcane).
With this traits build I can give massive support to others. Zephyr’s boons works with powerful aura give swiftness and fury when applies an aura to self and allies. Water Magic do great healling and condition remove. Arcane traits shortern the swift of attunement to provide more healling and boons.
Utilities skill i go for Arcane Blast, Arcane Wave and Arcane Shield. With Arcane Mastery traits I can cast those often.
Now is the most interesting part of this build. I can do many Combo byself very, very, very often. When using a staff, fire attune can cast 2 fire field spell. Water attune can cast 2 water field and 1 ice field. Air attune can cast a thunder field. That;s mean, with blast combo finisher we can cast Area might with fire field, Area Healling with water field, Area Frost Armor(Aura) with ice field, and Area swiftness with thunder field.
For example, cast equption on earth attune, switch to fire attune (1 might) and cast lava font instantly can do an area might(3 might), dodge to the lava font do another area might(3 might, all evasive arcane skill count a blast finisher), cast arcane wave for another area might(3 might), switch to water/air attune to dodge again to do another area might(3might). In this 3 sec moves, u give 13 might, protection boon, regens and heal or blinding foes(if switch to air attune to dodge), of course you also damaging foes in the sametime. You can also give a Magnetic Aura while casting eruption to give an aura which provide swiftness and fury boons.
Another instance is, it also can do a massive healling. Gayser and healling rain in water attune give water field. Evasive Arcane in water attuned = cleansing wave. swicth to water attune = area heal + remove condition. You can area heal up to 6 times and remove many conditions with switching attune, blast combo with water field. These move only take a pretty short time, probably just 3 sec. With 30 points to Arcane traits give ur boons longer and shortern the CD of attunement switching.
This build also can go with all weapon, and different gears to associate. d/d can do the samething with more instant damage, however the skills’ cd is longer. This traits build also deal average damage compare to full dps traits build. We have Bountiful Power(more boons = more damage), arcane ultility skills, arcane precision and shard of ice to support our damage output. In the same time we empower our allies, make them live longer and deal more damage. Of course we live longer with this traits build.
Power + precision gears give us more damage, condtion damage do a great job with burning and bleeding damage. Healling gears works with all healling skills. Vit gears make us hard to die.
I played with this traits with my ele for 1month, and i never feel boring about it. I play dungeon raid, wvw, pvp and the build works in these activities.
