I think the underlying issue with ele is you do not have much high hitting skills that cast onto a player target, or cant be cast fast enough to do sustained damage.
Skills like
Staff – Lightning Surge, takes too long to cast. make it instant.
Staff – Frozen Ground, make it instance, so we can get more comb’s with fire aoe’s.
Staff- Shockwave increase velocity so it works better on ranged/ moving targets.
Staff – Ice Spike Should cast onto a player, hover above their head as they move. it stills them time for them to block, dodge ect.
Scepter – Dragon’s Tooth Should cast onto a player, hover above their head as they move! it stills them time for them to block, dodge ect
Scepter – Shatterstone – make instant.
scepter – Ice Shards- make it add vulnerability or 20% chance to projectile finisher.
Dagger – Fire Grab, too Meany times does nothing due to lag? a fix would be nice.
Focus – needs a complete rework on cooldowns and fire and water skills
These changes would open up new builds based around damage. We should have the option to kill before we get killed. but our current skill set up don’t allow this combined with traits. We don’t need much trait changes, just need skills to damage so we not relaying on one fixed damage rotation.
After all i don’t see other classes waiting for X and X to come off cooldown so they can do X and X and hope for high crits to kill someone.
