Conjuring weapons while wielding Scepter/Focus or Scepter/Dagger sometimes doesn’t give you the conjured weapon.

It does create a Conjured Weapon on the floor for your allies to pick up though.

Zephyr’s Focus doesn’t work with conjured weapons, and only with a very few select skills otherwise. Even scepter skills like fire and earth auto attack doesn’t trigger it, even though they are channeled. I think the trait needs to be looked at.

Evasive Arcana (trait) does not always work in combat (and I know it has a cd of 10 seconds)
Also Arcana Shielding (trait which comes when your health reached 25%) does not work for the most times for me

When using a staff with sigil of Geomancy i.e. Bleed nearby foes on weapon swap. When Conjuring weapons, the sigil procs and the conjured weapon in your hand disappears.

Also, upon using lightning flash, occasionally the camera resets to a different direction during combat

it’s downright impossible for me to read through all those pages, but there’s 2 things i noticed about arcane power:
1- Arcane retribution says it gives you arcane power (which should be 5 next critical attacks) at “75%” health. This never happens, in fact, I stood still many times testing this, and only ONCE out of the 10 times i did this, did it activate arcane power, and it was no more than 33% of my health… not 75.

2- Even if this actually activated, the “buff” only stays active for 2-3 seconds… if anything it should have the same cooldown as it’s original form of 30 seconds OR “5” hits ( which if u ask me, is more like 2 hits sometimes…)

I don’t know if it has been reported yet but in pve (haven’t checked in HOM), #5 trident fire skill “heat wave” gives me ~23s of vigor instead of the 8s the in tooltip (base is 5s but I have some boon duration).

Elementalists are broken in WvW. They can continuously kite 5-6 people across the entire map while spamming invulnerability moves + stuns + slows + snares.

When I am in combat and I use a conjured weapon skill or change my current elemental affinity, my character casts Earth Ring. When changing elemental attunements it doesn’t really affect anything, although when I use it on conjured weapon it makes it so the weapon does not appear in my hand, and my moves do not change. While the weapon conjured on the ground appears fine. ALTHOUGH if I wait 30 seconds and pick up the weapon earth ring will activate again and make it so my weapon skills do not change.

The only things I have affecting my conjured weapons is the fire skill that adds 10 charges, although it has nothing to do with this glitch.

Glitch with trait – Water Magic – Arcane Abatement – Overall this works fine, except for when I am attuned to water. The trait says it will activate the trait “Healing Wave” Instead it does the same thing as Earth Magic “Earth Quake”

Yes my play-style is ruined as well, and I run a balanced staff ele and sometimes run with d/d.

Ride the lightning is now bugged as well: you have to repress the up arrow on your keyboard to keep moving forward after using it, the glitch it makes is horrible.

Mist form doesn’t remove conditions: therefore your stuck for 3 seconds with stacks of conditions and cannot even use a signet or heal yourself. Basically you move while “invincible” (as your massive health pool of 14k-16k is depleted from these conditions) and die when you come back to physical form.

I don’t know who is responsible for these buggy-broken nerfs but that is just sad. Go read the Elementist class message board and try to find five persons who are happy about the changes of the May patch. You will not find that many.

RIP any glassy ele. just tried it out, and it was horrible. bunker or dead. thanks for nerfing every single ele build…more. (0,10,0,30,30 dd was the only viable one already.) OMG signets (which are never used) get a slightly increased passive effect. SICK

Been reported since forever and still no fix….

-Inscription trait doesnt work as intented.
-Quick Glyphs doesnt work as intended.

Either fix the description, fix the trait or add another, please.

To lazy to read through to see if this is posted or not, but it was just being done on me and seems buggy.

An ele was casting the big Earth AoE on me the that does 9 stacks of bleed, anyway I would dodge out if it he would use lightning flash to port to me and have the AoE follow and cast on me.

I would think casting lightning flash would cancel the cast of the AoE instead of moving it with the ele…

Anyway if this is working as intended it seems OP for an already powerful AoE

It’s working as intended. Not like you can’t dodge based on timing or interrupt 3s long charge.

and I would hardly call it “o/p”, since it doesn’t do nearly the amount of damage a 2 second spamm of heartseeker does, which cannot be dodged, and 8 stacks of bleed, that last 8 seconds can be cleansed to mitigate a large amount of the condition damage.
unless it’s properly traited and executed flawlessly against an unsuspecting target…in which case it can do a sizable amount of damage, but still not as much as most other classes can achieve with comparative ease.

how does that make them “broken”?
that would be an effective use of their abilities, and if you’re silly enough to chase one all the way across the map, you deserve what you get.

As if thieves and mesmers don’t have the ability to kite infinitely around the map, escape when they should be dead, and then sneak back and back stab you a thousand times in a row until they finally are able to kill you. yeah, that’s not broken.

They read it, they just dont care or they dont have 1 second to admit it that they dont want to fix some particular things. They probably have a very limited personal too.

Lets just be patient , 9 more months hopefully.

New bug: When I cast Dragon’s Tooth, all ground-targeted AoE spells will fail as long as the dragon tooth is in the air. Tested with Flamewall and Shatterstone so far.

To addon from Talindra:
Flamewall cannot have a skill queued after it, it will go on interrupt cd
Also you cannot change attunement when using Flamewall as this will also interrupt the skill.

[Two bugs]

  • Yes, Shatterstone doesn’t appear most of the time. Hard to say what the reason is, but it isn’t showing, hence no effect using it.
  • Another bug I noticed is Armor of Earth, which will pop without warning, when using other skills. I noticed it in PvE, when using Rock Barrier for instance.

I know I’m the only person to ever have put 30 trait points into the earth line, but I was liking my little signet build. After the last patch “Written in Stone” does not correctly apply the buff for “Signet of Air” to keep its effect active while the signet is in cooldown. The cooldown is 24 seconds, but the buff only lasts for 15. The buffs for the other 3 signets correctly mirrors their cooldowns.

On scepter if i try to cast the skill 2(Shatterstone) while in combat on auto-attack skill 1(Ice shards), the character only doing the hand animation and no skill being cast (no spell animation, no damage output).

Another thing on “Written in Stone”, the buff it gives for signet of air when you use it is only 10% speed instead of the 25% passive that the signet has.

Just add all the incorrect cast times on the tooltips. I have the exact list I measured at home, but here are some examples from memory:

Fireball
Claimed: 1s
Actual: 1.4s

Chain Lightning, Water Blast, Stoning
Claimed: 0.75s
Actual: 1.36-1.38s

Ice Shards
Claimed: 0.75s
Actual: 1s

Dragon’s Claw, Lightning Whip
Claimed: 0.5s
Actual: 1.1-1.15s

Vapor Blade
Claimed: 0.5s
Actual: 1s

There is no consistency at all between the listed cast times and the actual time it takes to cast spells.

I thought it was just lagging I’m wvw.

Is Stone Splinters really bugged? It says 10% damage increase within 600 meter of target, yet there are reports that this only gives 5% damage increase. Need dev feedback please.

Signet of Restoration doesn’t get its cooldown reduced by Signet Mastery.
Signet of Air gives only a 10% speedboost with Written in Stone active when signet of air is on cooldown.

I don’t main an ele but I did reroll mine and noticed that shatterstone does not cast while you’re in combat, but if your not it casts. I know it has a second to show up but the toon acts like its casting it but it fails. I noticed this while i was unlocking my skills, which sucks because water is so mehhh at the low levels. Hope they fix that soon.

edit: if you unselect your target and cast it it works but if you’re auto attacking it fails.

Lots of toons and so little time :D

I have used 30 earth and written in stone for a long time (since the opposite of this bug, where you would get double signet buffs, ahh 600 hp per skill use). I haven’t noticed this bug yet, ty for pointing it out, I’ll have to check it next time I get ingame. 25% movement is crucial to my build (s/f).

The front page of posts hasn’t been updated in 7 months. It is entirely possible that some of these bugs have been fixed, and have not been removed from the list. This is part of the reason the thread lost its sticky, I’d wager: it is no longer accurate/reliable enough to use as a resource.

So stop bumping this thread with capslock, it’s not going to help.

Mixing insults with your post is like pooping in a salad.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.
