I want to ask, does Ele will have more access to weapon? Like dual pistol? Because I would be so delighted to see a “magic gunslinger”.

When A-net adds more elite specializations yes. I am just hoping A-net add a conjure/glyph based elite spec. Those utilities need more love.

Thinking about glyphs: Maybe name it the Loremaster, give ele focus in mainhand(I totally wanna rock a book as a main weapon) and make the elite buff existing glyphs as well as add new or even allow for combinations as a special mechanic. Say glyph of storm combined with elemental→elemental has a constant, moving aoe.
Conjuration is obvious: the Conjuror. Weapon I’d suggest sword mainhand and access to more conjurations as well as allow existing ones to last longer/have more charges and as a mechanic allow for some kind of different skills when in fire,air,water,earth.

That’s what I could come up with on the fly. Not suggesting those should be it but I’d so love to see some love for existing utilities.

Elite Spec: Conjuror base skill replace a attunement with a conjure. Give you a unique utility in place of that conjure for X sec. All traits buff conjures.

Elite Spec: Spellslinger base skill utilites are instant cast, increase cd of utilities by X%. Traits buff utilities effects(double cast, procs, duration).

I could not think of a way to buff glyphs. The spellslinger effect would enable you to use them while moving. Still the Conjuror one seems very good. You can have all of your attunement do high direct/condition damage instead of avoiding some attunements.

For pistol if you see that on an ele elite spec its most likely going to be in the off hand maybe the condition dmg wepon? I think its going to be very hard to add in main hands for ele’s elite spec due to how many skills the class gets build in.

The best weapon to be added for ele would be a mainhand condi weapon that can be used at range.
And a conjurer would be great. Traits fully focus on conjures.
One lesser trait is like: Instead of elemental swap you select a traited element and swap between your weapon set (weapon swap button) + conjure (no charges of course). (Triggers all swaping of course always in the same Element. If it can be combined with tempest there is no 5s wait (same element) and the CD is only on overload not swap.
