I’m trying to finalize a good build for my ele before investing in a set of armor for him, but I’m finding it to be difficult. The problem is that I feel like I’m trying to get more than is possible. I love staff and glyphs (healing, storm, elementals, and renewal/elemental power), but I feel conflicted when I want to be able to do some support and fast attunement switch, but don’t want to give up damage.

So what I do know is that I want a minimum of 20 arcana for staff AoE and 10 air for fast glyphs, but unsure how I should spend the last 40 to get a good balance of support/damage/survival. I guess I want it to be an almost universal build where I can just swap utilities as needed, sometimes weapons (I usually use daggers when solo and staff when with others) without needing to carry around a few different armor sets and respec often.

Any advice? Or am I just trying to grab too many things at once? I love being able to change instantly for different situations and adapt, but can’t seem to find the right build for it.

you still can take blasting staff, the glyphs I find are a bit underpowered but there are 3 of them for you.

for a bit more tankyness and condition damage but you loose a bunch of might stacking.

Both have some defensive, offensive and support ability just depends on where you want to focus more.
