Tons of top ele builds involve something like x/x/x/20/30 or x/x/x/30/30 or x/30/x/x/x and that’s nice because it has good healing/defensive capabilities and fast attunement swaps, but i’m looking for something else…something new-ish. I just want something else that not every other elementalist uses constantly rotating between all 4 attunements.
Im looking at either d/f or d/d for pve and my damage spec would be water… so far my current setup is 0/10/20/20/20 traits im using are: quick glyphs, signet mastery, stone splinters, shard of ice, piercing shards, arcane mastery, elemental attunement.
hell, maybe s/f instead, cuz scepter water attunement puts out more dps than dagger does…but I do like vapor blade cuz it does usually hit twice…but on the other hand, Shatterstone is quite nice with aquamancers alacrity and it has a long duration… either dagger mainhand for faster cast time or scepter for more dps, though i’d have to reapply shatterstone every so often.

that’s what I got so far. Obviously it is incomplete, though I need some suggestions to it, like what gear I should use with it, etc.
I guess it’s kind of a vulnerability spiker build I guess…I like the Piercing Shards trait. That just looks like fun. (I might go with scepter, cuz it offers more survivability than dagger does)
I’m all ears to suggestions. And yes, this build has no stun breakers(yet.) It’s a work-in-progress.
