Need your advice
At that level (which I assume is PvE only) my “only” advice is: “Play for fun”
Use all weapons to unlock the skills, try some setups and find out what works for you.
If the Ele is your first character and you do not have a lot of funds (= money & materials for crafting), go with what you find & what drops for you. Try to replace anything that gets 10 levels below your current stuff (e.g. try to replace everythign that is below level 30 right now.)
If you already think that Fire is the attunement you are most in (you should swap, that’s how the mechanic is played), try to get Blasting Staff as your adept trait and Elemental Attunement as you master trait. Internal Fire gives you 10% more damage while attuned to Fire (and that’s 30 trait points spend).
If you feel you are getting killed too often, try to mix more defensive stats (like Clerics & Knights), if you want to see some damage numbers, add in Berserker & Cavalier.
Still keeps a volume of Kurzick poems ;)

thanks alot man, really.
i know most of this but i dont know if i should put crit in y current and coming builds..
For right now like Gorani said play for fun don’t worry to much about builds until like level 75+. Just a hint to play elementalist well you need to attuntment swap its the major class mechanic. Sitting in fire attunment will kill your dps because of our long cooldowns. Again we have 5 different weapon sets combinations try them all out see which one you like the best. To really test the elementalist you need to engage in your game play not just sit there and spam mash buttons 1 and 2. If your looking to level up quickly the utility Lighting Hammer is probably the fastest way.
Elementalist
#Ele
If you dislike swapping attunements, prepare for early class deletion, or decide your favorite attunement is air.

sitting in fire is fine if you’re using staff
You’ll have to wait until a bit of a higher level until you can get elemental attunement at master.
I’m not sure what your goal is, but if it were me playing I would be 100% focused on getting to max level as soon as possible so I could have w/e build I want and not deal with power progression ever again.
If that’s your goal or you just want to play the ele in PvE on easy mode, your best bet would be to put 10 into Fire, grab Conjurer, and use Lightning Hammer as your main weapon, because it pretty much blows everything else out of the water in terms of ease of play combined with effectiveness.
Throw down some longer duration combo fields before using it because the third auto attack is a blast finisher, and does AoE blind.

Do you honestly have fun and feel engaged when you do this? How about when you die to any type of focus, even a 1v1 when built to sit in fire with stafF?
Perhaps you do, but I don’t. And I don’t think the ele should be less than engaging/fun.
Respectfully disagree.

the easiest and fastest way to lvl ele is power/crit traits with lighting hammer. it’s like 1k crits when you hava about 500 hp. perma blind on 3 targets.
