Fresh air wasn’t overpowered… It made the elementalist fun to play. What on earth justifies a 5 second cooldown on a (now useless) Grandmaster trait ?
I also have the feeling that the trait procs even if lightning attunement isn’t on cooldown, which makes it even more horrible now…

that was what it was supposed to do orginally. If there was no icd you could literally burst forever

A lot of things had no internal cool-down.

However a lot of people screamed for balance, and took all the opportunity cost out of the game and now we have a balanced one.

Don’t Complain.

It was a bugfix: the initial design of FA was with 5s ICD.
To the best of my knowledge it does not proc when air is not on cd.
