I’ve decided to step away from the PVT build, and tried to mix it up a little bit. I was wondering if you guys would be able to provide some insight into my build?

With this build, I use Ether Renewal as my healing spell and for my utilities I still run mostly cantrips. Cleansing fire, lightning flash, and mist form. The only difference is that I dont need to be using them for condition removal so I don’t have to waste them on that. I’ve been thinking of swapping cleansing fire out since I have ether renewal, but I don’t know what for. Armor of earth and arcane shield have way too large of a CD i think to replace cleansing fire.

My build is identical to yours. The only difference is that I use the 20% cooldown reduction to cantrips. I use Armor of Earth instead of Cleansing Fire. reducing incoming damage by 33% at the press of a button has saving me more times than I can count.

Eles don’t have much access to stability, so the 2 in 1 benefit of armor of the earth is worth the cooldown imo. Especially since you are using ether renewal, cleansing fire leaves you with a buckload of condi removal. Protection + stability would fit nicely with your other utilities.

Also consider the stability it gives when using ether renewal. Unlike our glyphs and signets ether renewal is a channel, and anybody who plays eles, can easily interrupt your channel leaving you with a 20 sec cd. It’s always better to have a bit of stability sometimes then none, and with ether renewal especially you get screwed if it is interrupted.

Have you considered swapping out 2 more divinity for water?

Currently you’re running on 20 + 15 = 35% boon duration. With water you’ll be packing 50% which would increase your shocking aura up to a straight 6 seconds, swiftness abilities up to 15s, arcane fury up to 3s, and any 5s abilities up to 7s.
