Just saying after seeing many negative posts recently about ele that after recently making an ele(primarily d/d) I absolutely love it. I love all the jumping around and movement required and the large amount of combos and variations to attacking you can do as an ele! It has been a blast and I can’t wait till I get it to 80 to see eles full potential…btw ride the lighting is one of the most fun moves in the game(coming from an engi with rocket boots)

I’ve played almost nothing but ranger and d/d ele. The D/D ele, in particular, is what I play the most—- and the vast majority of my time is spent in WVW with some spvp thrown in when Im short on time and need a daily done.

In short—- ele isnt what it once was.

I went Necro and I’ve only gotten him up to 52 after a couple of days but so far, I think I prefer it. Im at a real disadvantage in terms of gear— and I miss the eles mobility, but over all my damage feels like it hurts much more and I find that I can stand my own against any other class in a one on one situation, and have held off up to 3 at once in SPVP by utilizing lots of condition removal and heals.
