New Ele need helps vs. Warriors
Dodge their stuff. Warriors seem overwhelming when you’re unexperienced, but once you get decent you’ll giggle at how extremely straightforward they are. This is assuming we’re talking about hammer warriors, who are definitely the most dominant force when getting into pvp.
Warrior hammer has 3 CC moves. If you avoid at least two, you’re good. If you don’t, you need to pop a stun-breaker. Important to remember, is that you need to try to hang on to your stun breakers as long as possible, since they have 20 times more stuns than you have stun-breakers.
Not quite as important as dodging their stuff, but still crucial, is hitting your stuff. Might seem obvious but you really have to learn what spells do enough damage to put yourself in melee range to the hulking warrior for. Don’t underestimate the damage from burning from dagger fire 2 and 4.
Third tip is realizing that you really don’t do all that much dps, and it’s very possible that a fight with a tanky warrior would take far too long to be reasonable, or could even last forever. Blast your firefields to get more damage! But again, bunker warriors and guardians might very well be unkillable for your semi-bunker spec.
Last tip, try to outrange the warrior on your daggers. It’s not easy, but you have quite a bit more range than strictly melee. Use immob, chill and cripple and stay just out of melee range.

With healing signet, adrenal health, regen from dogged march, regen food and possibly even dolyak runes, warriors can comfortably get >1K HP/sec passive regen. That’s before speccing shout heals for another ~4K burst healing every 30sec.
Even with this setup, my warr still crits earthshaker for 4-5K every 10sec. You can’t outrun them either if they’re running sword or GS in the other slot.
Yes I know it’s overpowered, but hey, it’s legit, so it’s what I run.

In spvp it is all about keeping your water attunement , cantrip cleanses and dodges.
Ele comes down to using your abilities at the right time.Never spam condi removal.Wait for it.If they have you immobilised for a long time you are kittened. Also try using Ether renewal(while running) when they unload even if your health is not very low. After they unload their regular burst and they fail to hit you its your turn to hit them hard.Use your burst and watch them as their health drops around 50% and they have absolutly no way to get back up to full.Usually they start running at that point. After that Lightningwhip with aura from air is your best friend.

step one, go all out and realize you can’t get it below 40%
step two, if you do, watch opponent zoom off like a drag racer
step three, use cleansing wave skill cuz it’s cool to watch ._.

Lol so true. I still can’t find the logic behind making a HEAVY armor profession be more agile than a light armor type…. Hopefully wildstar will never implement this when it is released.
