Here it is, this is my first Ele, and I want to go full pyro damage dealer. Im not worried about survuvability really, I just want to stand int he back and deal out hell.

Any advice on Weapon sets to use and possible builds? Thx!

What do you plan to do (besides imaginging yourself blowing things up)?

PvE? PvP? WvW? Group? Solo? These things help to know.

My advice is roll another class. Anet is dead set on nerfing the class into the ground, and not stopping there!

My advice, and this is the best you will get, don’t read this forum!
Instead go and experiment by yourself, you will be much better at playing ele then!

I often summon earth elementals to act as distractions while dishing out some strong AoE

If you play WvW, this is definitely viable if you stick to a zerg and stay in Staff. Bonus points if you play in a mid-tier server which will actually have zergs to fight in, yet the fighting won’t be of high enough quality that you won’t be called upon to run something stronger.
