Guild Wars 2

Alrighty so I hit 80 about 3 days ago or such (about 80 hours in total of playing time to hit 80) and have grown very fond of using a staff over any other weapon. On top of that, I REALLY love/prefer supporting. I played more than a ton of EotM and have noticed that I excel in just healing/peeling for my team.

Right now, I’m running in cleric exotic armor with runes of dwayna (or something like that) and the exotic water sigil + the one that gives up to +25 stacks after you kill an enemy (increases healing). Sorry I don’t remember the names at the moment. I know eles (or at least guess) are supposed to go all “pew pew BOOOMMMM” and such but I feel really tanky and helpful with a lot of healing power and vit. I think I run either 0/2/0/6/6 or 0/0/2/6/6 and take mist form, lightning flash, sometimes the arcane skill (not arcane blast but the first one on the bottom left when you’re choosing your skills from the arrow above the skill slot) so that I can do the field thingy for added effects (aoe might/frost armor/speed boost) or frost bow so I can blink -> frost bow 5 an enemy sometimes or now signet of life. For the elite, I take the elemental summoning or flame greatsword (those are a good way to get around faster too!).

Basically what I’d like to know is that is this build viable? I’m still figuring all of this stuff out. I have a zerker set and got luckily gambling the rest of my gold away and got an exotic zerk staff out of the mystic forge thingy (I blame my long time friend for leading me to that gambling addicting toilet) just in case heal/tanky spec is completely poop.

On a side note: I also ran this build, cept with earth shield instead of frost bow and reaper of grem in the instance with the aetherblade guys (I’m really sorry I don’t remember any names…I think it was TA? or DA?) and actually managed to learn and then pull the fire elementals in there so our black flubbers could get to the end without dying. My guildie said he had never seen an ele do it before but it worked since we didn’t have a guardian.
