Just a cool idea I thought of. I thought it would make sense in water, but any other trait line would be fine.
XVI Frostbite
Chill now inflicts condition damage. Increase chill duration.
Chill: 200 damage/second Durarion increase: 10%
This would allow for condi eles to be more viable by allowing for a strong extra condi that also has a ton of utility. The duration increase would allow for more chill uptime.
This maybe be OP but I fel like condi ele should be a thing and if something like this was implemented it would be awesome. Eles would truly be the masters of burning and chill.

Where would this go? Water? No condition ele will go 6 into water. Not even for this trait. I wish we got a Better Fire trait, something like the Guardian one would have suited us better.
Just an idea. It’s not like ArenaNet takes our ideas anyway, so no point of arguing of what traitline.
What we really need is just a few conditions actually added to our condition attunement (Earth) a Bit of Torment and maybe Poison would be very welcome addition i think.

The water one is actually not that stronger than the fire one because we have fewer opportunity to chill an enemy.

I would support condi ele ideas if I didn’t think condis were already overextending themselves by a huge margin in this game.
That said, ele can very nearly compete with Engi and Necro with condi application under the right circumstances, but as to be expected it takes 5x more effort to achieve the same result.
