So I got to thinking how neat it would be for classes to finally get new weapons to their weapon lists. So, I figured since my main is my Ele I would start with what weapons I would like to see on it. That being said, The Greatsword, I always thought the conjured one was lacking by being charged based so i thought that since the Mesmer has it, Why not the Ele! Anyways, here is my shot at it!

Fire

• #1 Fire beam
  Deals a little less than the fire blast from the staff but has a short burning cast as long as the beam is hitting the target.

• #2 Flaming Charge
  Similar to the Firey rush on the great sword only when you leap you do a blast finisher when you land also Dealing AoE damage in the area around you

• #3 Flame Wheel
  You summersalt threw the air and slash all In you path. much like firey whirl but vertical instead of around you.

• #4 Meteor Toss
  Throw a flaming meteor at your foe knocking them over and burning them.

• #5 Meteor Blade
  Flip into the air and thrust your sword into the ground, launching all foes in all directions while doing some pretty serious damage to them.

Water

• #1 Mist slicer
  Throw a blade of Mist at your for weakening all foes that get hit by the blade

• #2 Icicle shot
  Fire a barrage of icicles from the end or your blade doing an AoE amoung your foes.

• #3 Water sphere
  Coat your self in a water sphere receving 5% less damage while regenerating health
  (Brust sphere AoE heal all Allies around you)

• #4 Ice Walker
  Roll/Jump/Flee backwards leaving a trail of Ice causing anyone to walk of it get chilled and falls over

• #5 Tsunami
  Throw a Wave of water infront of you Healing Allies while damaging Enemies

Air

• #1 Lighting Shock
  Stab your foe from the heavens with lightning

• #2 Wind Blade
  Cut the air with your blade knocking back foes infront of you.

• #3 Charged Swing
  Slam your foe with your sword and shock them, stunning them for a short time

• #4 Shocking Storm
  Swing you sword hitting foes with lighting all around you

• #5 Thundering Blade
  Summon a Blade of thunder that slams into the ground stunning foes then explodes into a fury of lightning

Earth

With Earth I want to add a new condition called crystallization. what happens is it does nothing until it stacks up to 10 and then does a decent chunk of damage

• #1 Crystal Blade
  Every hit with this does a stack of crystallization. Summon a blade of crystal beneath your foes feet, causing a small amount of bleeding

• #2 Ground dasher
  Cause a tremor in the ground throwing rocks threw the air causing bleeding with every hit

• #3 Crystal Piller
  Slam your foes with A crystalline Pillar dealing 3 stacks of crystallization

• #4 Rocky Javelin
  Throw a javelin at your foe, Impaling them causing bleeding whenever they move

1. Crystal Stalagmite
   Multiple Stalagmites erupt from the ground and impaling anyone within the AoE granting 3 stacks of Crystallization per pillar hit.

Now what about the Firey Greatsword that we already have? Well I would love to see it get recycled into a new Conjure for a new weapon in general, Something like a halberd or glavie or something. Something new to bring to the table.

I think Gs is fine as is. I would prefer a trade-off of fewer base weapons, yet all non-base weapons as a conjure. There are plenty of special skills worthy of the trash bin.

Nice idea m8, but everybody knows what our class really needs, and that is on table since beta, bugfixes, bugfixes and reverting of the bad balance decisions and a little more bugfixes on top of this.
Then we can actually suggest a new weapon sets, when our actual skills and traits would work as they should.

personal I rather have a whip, Daggers thunder whip already proven how kick-kitten that is so why not get 1 for all the elements
that crystallization idea of yours is rather interesting. I’d love the idea of making a stackable time bomb. 1 thing I would add tho is making it a aoe blast so enemies around the mob go up like the mob he was a bomb.

It’s also a good group friendly stacking condition rather then getting screwed over when 2-3 people with condition builds in your group over stacking/duration causing you to lose out on some DPS this 1 one would promote team work to build up the stack faster there by increasing the rather it goes off and ultimately increasing group dps.

It needs a way to deal with conditions or it won’t be used much except in PvE.

hehe i want sword too, for FDS, just think some sort of legendary dragon sword that flames change colour depending on your attument :o

Still would rather have Longbow … 1200+ range weapon that focuses on damage and mobility with little or no support.
