Hey fellow elementalists!
A few weeks ago i made an ele, and im still in the leveling stage. So far I have enjoyed the profession alot, as if it was made for me. The skills, the attunement swapping and the flow of the combat all appeal to me. But I need some help regarding gear when the time comes and I reach level 80.
My favourite weapon set is d/d, and I intend to use it for a long time. I feel like i need some defence in order to survive, but what kind? Is soldiers good enough? And if so, what kind of trinkets? Are celestial any viable? (I like the ascended trinkets with celestial stats, like the ancient mursaat thing) I am gonna play both wvw and pve, but mostly wvw, where I prefer small scale fights and roaming.
Some warn that the Mursaat will return to agonize the people of Tyria once more.
Started with staff and switched to d/d and never looked back. I play mostly wvw now.
You need alot of toughness because we take alot of hits when we go in. I try to keep my toughness up and my vitality not too low. For the rest I try to balance the traits to get damage and also some defense/health regen.
