Hi, I’ve just hit 80 with my ele and i want to gear my guy mainly for roaming wvw with d/d. I was wondering if zerker gear was good for 1v1 or 1vx? Also, I’ve heard that celestial gear is good for eles, should i get celestial rings/trinkets and the like? And runes of Strength… worth the investment? Thanks for helping

Some people will tell you their set up is best but you really just need to practice and learn what stats work for you. I can hep point you in the right direction tho. for stats i got for 2k power, 2,500 armor, around 30-40 crit chance, around 200% crit damage (i think… ferocity is still a little confusing for me), and around 15 – 16k health.

For armor i have a mix of Cavalier, Valk, Assassin, and Zerk to get the above stats.

For runes i run Strength (worth every penny)

For sigils i use a few different ones. Air, Strength, Bloodlust, and Generosity. Depending on how roaming is going that day and what i feel im lacking.

It can be a bit overwhelming when you hit 80 but trust me you will go through 2 -3 sets of armor and stat combos before you hit your golden ratio. Hope this helps!!!
