If you want to hit like a wet noodle then yes its possible. Id suggest magis mixed with zealots. Keep in mind youre gonna hit like a noodle still cause of no ferocity. Or even running full celestial.

Follow the darkness into the depths, it’s more fun than the light can provide.

I run Ventari, that’s ascended Normad.

My build isnt for dps or tagging, you get little loot.
I use it for water ele to do better heals. You’re there to basically keep your group alive and let them tag everything.

Running the heal % modifiers across the board, you can put out some pretty sick healing numbers and sustain healing. Just not worth it imo.

If you just want to follow the commander and stay alive try full pvt (soldiers) +melandru. Seriosly you don’t need more survivability than that. The healing power doesn’t work in large fights anyway. Unless you wan’t to make a 100% troll immortal build or make a full zerg of nomads and build AC’s for all fights focusing 100% on ppt.

I use nomads for trolling , when the group im in already has an excess of DPS or when i am pushing in zerg fights on a DnD. Mind you not pure nomads. Its just a mix with celestials and knights.

There is also a saying, dead DPS is no DPS. Zero contributions. So if your group is happy with you being the bait, enemies will get fooled the first time by targeting the DnD ele first but next time they will ignore you and hit your weaker mates first.

So there are pluses and minuses.

It’s not necessary to sacrifice the DPS you have plenty of skills on both your staff and via cantrips like mistform , or the elite lava GS that are escapes out of bad positioning. Positioning is everything. Invest in offence and start off with defensive gear, adding in peices of zerkers as you feel more comfortable.
