Seriously? Are we THAT good? Even had to deal with a dev saying eles are ok and there are things just :holding them down" gfrom being roflstomp OP…… do they even play staff? Do they even know focus is a weapon we can use?!

Thats it, im done with ele, time to get that guardian up and going

Dude, you know the eles left in EU are going more and more for zerker scepter focus, which works really amazingly well, but requires kittenloads of timing and skill?

S/F is in my opinion the most useful weapon set in the game for ele. Tho its funny that without a change to focus it seems viable. More like everything else got nerfed down to focus level…

Considering we only hae 3 options main hand; dagger melee, scepter mid melee and staff long range, it pains me seeing that the only “viable” option is staying up close for a one pony trick gimmick, that is not viability. Basically it is attempt to burst them down with 2 arcanes (no room for defense traits) and fire/freash air, if they survive (you would be surprised if I tell you that anything non-zerker is very likely to survive) then you better say your prayers or spend your ult plus the last utility (all in long CD) for a chance of getting away which, 8/10 times results in you dying nonetheless since you are on CD and with no defensive utilities…

A dev on the “learn how to use ele” live stream a few weeks ago, whilst telling everyone what the spells do (well durr….) also said that staff is great for kiting & that you could kite 15 with ease.
We all know there`s no way in hell you could kite fifteen of anything, but they remain clueless.

It amazes me to the point i dont think these people play the game, thus they should NOT be allowed anywhere near balancing of the game. They seem clueless to the issues that EVERYONE else that PLAYS the game can see.

Personally WHEN this game dies, it will be down Anet. Since the start they have been doing their best (it seems) to RUIN the game.

I would like to see a live stream of them playing the ele in pvp with their L2P tactics in play.

With the right build the staff can still be powerful (out classed by other professions but strong nonetheless)

lets admit it, it will never happen, all we will get are tooltips and’ "we increase the damage by 1% and increased the CD by 50% to compensate, hope that helps! "
