So started to play staff ele a lot recently and I haven’t decided on what’s the best runes. Currently I am running with the heolbrek runes, might dosnt seem fit for a staff ele as it dosnt rely on might stacks (compared d/d)

Been running pack runes on thief for some time now and I was wondering how good are they on a staff ele (mostly berzerker/valk gear)

This will be for wvw roaming and raosing

I think the best runeset would be either Strength or Exuberance. Strength runes combined with Strength Sigil probably has the highest overall dps and Exuberance has the most overall stats with precision comparable to pack runes with a decent amount of vitality investment along with not relying on Strength Sigil.

But I’m new to staff ele, just my opinion.

Hmm i think hoelbrak is realy good for WvW. But it depends how you combine it.
Hoelbrak + Pyronancers Puissance + Strength Sigil + Lemmongrass makes a solid WvW setup. Pack is a good stat setup and helps in a group but i would prefer hoelbrak for a power build.

If you need pre then i see no problem with pack runes.

And if you need might i would suggest mgiht or holebraks.

If you looking at min/max stats then exuberance runes

Speed + stats+condi then travellers runes

For condi you can try balth/legion/perplexity runes

I wonder whether the shout in Privateer works with Tempest.

Yeah, the gear stats is exactly what am looking for. I have close to that but mising a out on power and vitality.

I use clerics with staff because the whispers I get are gold.
