Is this just them badly wording things as usual, or does this not work correctly in any other areas?
Didn’t work correctly.
So just changing the wording of stuff. No nerfs? Color me shocked. As an Ele main, I dread all patch notes. It always means nerfs.

It’s still a great, semi-overloaded skill. Not sure why it needed to be unblockable in the first place.

This ruins everything. I’m so sick and tired of all these constant nerfs. Now we have to campaign endlessly on the forums to get Magnetic Wave reverted like Ride the Lightning.

Wave, not Grasp, the patch notes state Magnetic WAVE! That is a #4 skill on the focus, which is by far, the least used Ele weapon, yet as we may see from reactions of some people, it is clearly enough to rage quit over it…. funny
I haven’t tested it, but if they put charges on arcane retribution, that’s a nerf. It was 100% crit chance on all attacks for 5 seconds.
Not a huge issue, since now it’s just an even worse bad trait.
Magnetic Wave probably wasn’t supposed to be unblockable, so they fixed it. I never even noticed..
Was it the damage that it did unblockable or the projectiles thay it reflected?

Oops totally misread that…my bad! But I guess the same question remains but different reason behind it. Why was THAT on their radar? Were people getting owned by Focus Eles left and right?

2 small nerfs, one being to the least used weapon.

1 slight buff, 1 decent buff
and arcane power is 4 critical hits.. i don’t know when they changed it to 5
It was always five hits since it started counting attacks, but in the distant past it was just 100% crit chance for 5 seconds.
edit: If arcane retribution still used the old arcane power, then yeah, I’d agree on it being a buff.

Only MW was slightly nerfed, while several effects were slightly buffed. Arcane Retribution is certainly a more viable trait – it was way too random when it only lasted for 5 seconds, because the chances of you not noticing it were high. At least it can be used more reliably now.

arcane retribution is gain arcane power at 75% health
and arcane power is 4 critical hits.. i don’t know when they changed it to 5
Arcane power is supposed to be 5 critical hits. You can infact get 7 from it if you know how. But for the most part, this was bugged at release and some fixes have come out for it.
E.g. Originally all charges were consumed when using Churning Earth due to the cripple effect. And different attunements would have different results with this skill.

I have just see the new animation when we use Glyph of Renewal,The animation is the same thing that put a big icon right on us head saying the due his healing interrupt him. Why the others class have the same thing when they use their heal we can intterupt hmm ?
