Phoenix cancels dodges
I’ve been noticing this too.
Also, skills used immediately after a dodge often don’t trigger. The button flashes showing that it’s been pressed, but it doesn’t activate. I didn’t have this issue a month ago.

is this with Evasive Arcana?

They fixed the issue with autoattack interrupting dodge roll. From update notes:
- Fixed a bug that could cause chain skills to sometimes interrupt dodge rolls.
what do you mean by dodges get cancelled? do you still get the effect of the dodge? Do you stop halfway through your dodge? Does it seem like you only get the effect of evasive arcana 50% of the time?
What it sounds like to me is that you don’t know that Evasive arcana has a cooldown for about 10 seconds, so when you dodge and nothing happens you think it didn’t work, when in reality your evasive arcana is just on cooldown.
If not I guess send a bug report, my dodges work fine good luck.
Lol I know about the cooldown of EA, what I mean is i lay down ring of fire, switch to earth, dodge then right before I land my dodge and grant the earth dodge it just stops, removing endurance but not granting an earth roll.
I have this with my own roll trait as a condition necromancers, so it probably has something to do with roll-based abilities.
They tried to “fix” dodge traits and broke them, typical.
I also get this a lot on both my Ele and my Guardian
I just noticed that this always happens when my phoenix (scepter skill 3) returns to me when I dodge roll. When the phoenix touches me and grants me vigor my dodge just stops.
Also I noticed that when I cast churning earth (dagger skills 5) and use arcane wave while casting it, my churning earth just stops.

This is not a bug, it’s a “feature”, your character is performing a certain animation when the phoenix returns back, it removes conditions and applies vigor at that time. It’s even more funny in Ascalon fractal when for a brief moment, during that animation, the character stops being a charr but reverts to the original form (if your char wasn’t a charr).
This needs a fix for sure

This seems like pretty clear and easy to understand and reproducible bugs. If you post them in the game bug forum and also /bug them in game, they should reach the QA properly, and we all will benefit from the fix.
