Hey, I just rolled a new ele and love it so far. What i want to know is how populous are GOOD ele’s in the max level/WvW scene?

Plenty of them since the D/D uprising, not that many good ones though.

Staff is great for bunker builds and D/D is the best for the versatility, D/D is the most viable but not the only viable weapon set.

You can count me, I’m a “GOOD” one. What does that bring the count to?

I’ve noticed a lot of D/D Elementalists lately, not my cup of tea personally. Staff is the way to go imo.

Lol so true. I would say 80% of the wannabe d/d ele bunkers think they are gods
and run into 30 people thinking they will survive, and they dont. The good ones
know what to do and when to do it. Too many players think that the build makes
the player, and its not true.

I love running into other D/Ds in WvW, 95% of them suck and go down fast regardless of bunker builds.

The other 5% I assume are old school because it’s either a standstill or I die / run.

I dont think there are more eles than any other class out there. Its just those few ones that are good and get noticed.

D/D eles seem in high numbers in sPvP. I run D/D for pvp and most of the others are usually bad. There are ones that put me in my place though

I see more eles in spvp than previously but not more than thiefs, mesmers and guardians.

I usually run d/d and consider myself quite good. Every time I meet a staff or S/X ele I consider it a free kill, unless they are full out bunker in which case it may take some time to down them.
