My Elementalist, Lysis!

This is “Mad” Magnus Redmane, third son of the Cragstone Redmanes. I set out to make the rare male norn elementalist as a side character, one I’d occasionally level, but he kicks kitten (after getting over the lvl 45 hump) and I play him often.

Someone called the look ‘Hamlet as a biker’.

I spent a lot of time trying to come up with an armor combination that would look good beside my playing partner’s guardian (blue and silver draconic). I wanted something sturdy and with a lot of metal flash to it, but that didn’t show a lot of skin. Here’s the final look, along with parts and sources if anyone is interested. No dungeon or gem store pieces are needed, but you will need lots of transmutation crystals.

Chest: Magician’s (trading post)
Leggings: Named/Acolyte (Ogden’s, trading post)
Gloves: Winged (crafting or trading post)
Shoulders: Stately (karma, Mountainous Shoulderpads, Timberline Falls)
Boots: Stately (karma, Acquired Shoes, Timberline Falls)

Dyes: royal blue and either gunmetal or burnished silver (depending on material type)

Here’s mine: Trickster set, Melandru’s Gaze with Desert Flower. I think it’s one of the best light armor sets yet.

I liked what I saw.

Eyes: one of the necro starter mask
Shoulders: T3 human cultural
Hair: have to buy hairstyling set or the full styling set for gems

My main is a charr elementalist, and I thought I’d post a pic. I was going for a fiery pyromancer-ish look, and I think I got it.

I just love how lvl70 blues/greens look better than most of the dungeon sets ._.

first set is masquerade which can bought from trading post
2nd and 3rd(in same picture) is vigil armour and human tier 3 cultural armour
3rd set is feathered vestments which can bought from trading post
