- Please for the love of god fix RTL!!!
I would be willing to take a nerf on healing(the only OP thing about us) to get some of these changes.
Fix the bugs we already have and I think we’d be in a pretty good place.
This includes the cast times being longer than they should.
I think higher damage is required for our burst combos. They are really weak compared to warriors or theives. Perhaps more control as well (eg. stuns etc)

I do not have a ele myself which does sadden me but everytime i see them they almost always using the same elite skill so better elites and more based damage for all your attacks ive seen how small your numbers can be 1 vs 1 and it makes my necro look decent somehow.
The thing that I want first would be to see al the bugs fixed then:
-Reduced casting time on meteor shower.
-A better Elite, something like Element Master that give you a boon dépending on what element you’re in when you use it

or
-causes burning when you/you are hit
Water
-heal
or
-some kind condition removal tick like the signet
or
-all your skills heal you
Air
-perma swiftness
Earth
-reduce all incoming damages
but still allows you to attunement swap.
Defense, we are just way too weak to incoming damage.
1 – hit deaths just plain suck and doesn’t make the game fun. It makes the class pointless to play.
The ability to do damage in water attunement, even if it means having to sacrifice most of my healing/utility effectiveness to do so (via traits).
I wanted to play a water/lightning themed ele but that went down the drain extremely fast.

Scepter needs reworked imo, fire is okay, but the rest are blah
Out of Combat weapon swap
New attunement
Better elite skills – Elemental is great for pve, but fire is about the only good one in pvp
Fire Grab – Cooldown decreased 15 seconds
Lightning Flash – Cooldown decreased 15 seconds or range increased to 1200
Conjure weapons – actually made useful, instead of just fluff
Churning earth – casting time decreased to 2 or 2.5 seconds
Frozen burst – damage increase
Arcane Blast – Damage increased
Arcane power – fixed
Glyph of Elemental Power – Scrapped and reworked into something else, maybe
Fire – increases damage by 15% for 10 seconds
Water – Increases Healing done by 15% for 10 seconds
Air – Next attack will knockdown your opponent for 2 seconds or shield yourself with a reflect aura for the next 5 seconds
Earth – Surround yourself with a shield which decreases damage done to you by 20% for 10 seconds
Traits – Reworked and made into useful things :p
There’s just a lot of traits that are bleh and useless ,they really need redone
Most of all though, bug fixes. Namely ride the lightning.
i basically want Ride the Lightning to become a utility skill
so i can play with a staff, but always have it on my skillbar.
and for the huge casting times to be gone
or at least the root effect when u cast them.
My 2 wishes: I wish the severe damage nerf that occurred between BWE2 and BWE3 never happened. I also wish we had an elite that I would use, ever.
Seriously anet, my 0 button never gets used as our elites suck so bad they are not worth using because they end up killing you. Way to go with those.
Elite Elements are actually pretty powerful, but it’s pretty much our only alternative unless you’re a Charr, so I welcome more variety.
Right now the only thing I want fixed is RtL, seriously, that one thing would make me happy.
Fire Grab: CD reduced to 25 secs.
Updraft: CD reduced to 30 secs.
Grasping Earth: CD reduced to 15 secs.
Earthquake: CD reduced to 25 secs.
Increased Number 1 and 2 skills damage in general.
So many fundamental changes to half of our utilities that I don’t have the time to do here.
Fix all bugs / Improve Ride the Lightning.
Change speed traits to something else.
Make more traits affect all elements or more of them.
More synergy with traits.
Change useless minor traits.
Wont talk about staff/scepter/focus because i have no experience with them.

More damage on all our autoattacks.
Huge cooldown reduction on Firegrab and Updraft, something like 15 and 20 seconds respectively.
Firegrab damage boost.
Cooldown reduction on whirlwind elite to 90 seconds like daggerstorm.
Fix ALL the bugs.
Change dagger air2 to blind instead of weakness, make instant.
Water field for daggers, probably dagger w5 so scepter could also have a water field to combo off.
Make conjured weapons instant cast and switchable to for their duration, just like engineer kits (but with a conjured duration and when that is up they go on cooldown) and make them lose the second weapon.

Make armor of earth 6 seconds stability/protection but with a 60 seconds cooldown, like what was actually tried for a short time in beta.
- Better elites is a good one to note. Tornado is an awesome elite but there should be others that can match that. But then again, you can say that for many of the other professions as well.
- Better traits. I don’t think I need to elaborate on that, but one thing i’ll just say is that there needs to be better synergy or continuity with the traits and the attunements
- Attunements. The cooldown should be lowered a bit and then some of the weapon skills in the attunements should be swapped for something different.
All in all, the ele is a cool class but there does need to be some adjustments. Hopefully Anet will see that they have a pretty good class in the ele, but if they make some fine-tuning, then it can be an overall positive thing for the community

1) Reduce cooldowns for off-hand skills
2) Boost HP at least to mesmer’s value
3) FIX RtL!!!
4) Useless traits rework (merge % damage and CDr traits for example)

Removal of downed state in PvP.
My wishes:
Don’t nerf in any way. My current love for elementalist (was broken first but now rebooted after seeing D/D footage) is fragile. I died a lot (lvl 31 now) but like it enough to not abandon it. But any nerf will make me leave the profession. It’s to weak for any nerf, including the so called ‘overpowered healing’. It isn’t overpowered in any way.
Lower dagger/focus offhand skills that have cd of 35+ seconds. Really our skills ARE already worse then other professions (to compensate for the fact we have more of them). Don’t give us this long cooldowns. It limit’s element specific trait builds.
Guardians have way better condition removal then us. And since we are the squishiest prof in game, their should be more traits like this. I fought some low level risen, and they stacks 7 conditions on me. (including bleed,burn, poison). Simply impossible to survive. Even with mistform, and cleansing wave. I understand in SOME way mistform doenst prevent already applied condition damage, but what’s the use for?
The downed mistform. Please omg fix it. It’s so crazely frustrating. Why oh Why do i sometimes enter downed state and die immediately without ever seeing a downed state hp bar? Smoothen it up Arenanet. First of all down state should immediately respond, so fast you can so fast use your skills that you ACTUALLY STAND A CHANCE. Secondly why reset cooldowns after a rally? really i did on purpose 5x downed and up, didn’t use a single skill. I thought yay all my skills (especially the bleed/immobalize) will be off cooldown. A mob gets me downed, guess what 8 seconds cooldown on skills 3 of downed. This really is crazy anoying arenanet. Every downed state imo you should start a clean bill with all skills off cooldown. Also mistform sucks. It basically is only good against melee mobs without any condition on you. Even then it’s risky. Why? I was downed, had poison on me. The second i was in downed (with full hp) i pressed mistform to pre-emptive prevent the most damage. While this happened, just before mistform ran out, the mob i first hit (thus tagged) died. This simply means i should rally. (i removed 50%+ of it’s hp bar before getting downed, someone else killed it). I wasn’t rallied! Instead i get trown out of mistform before the full duration was done and i was completely dead. Really arenanet this is not how it should work. Fix this immediately. Highest priority ever (imo). Burst CC/healing (guardian) downed state is so much better. I also hate the fact a full hp downed bar can be completely vanished by a simple low damage strike from an enemy. They can run away and you will still die. Why? Because it interrupts Bandage, gives it a cooldown timer, and meanwhile with our low/squisy hp we lose hp in record speed, until we die before bandage comes off cooldown. Consider removing this features allthogether. Bandage heal is weak. But sometimes i got off 10% downed hp to 95% and yet got killed all the way from a lame small damage strike. Then the mechanics prevent any healing and without enemy effort you die on your own. A little lame in my opinion after all that effort to get up again. Fix this please.
Give more synergy in the elemental trait lines. If you put 30 in fire (or any other for the matter), it should give substantial bonus. And since they are tied to only one element (25% of our ‘weaker then other professions’-skillset), they should be really worth it, and not some lousy 5% boosts.
Repeat but quite important please do not nerf in any way. Ele is punished hard with low hp/armor. We can live with this but not with another nerf.
Less worthless traits that nobody would ever pick… seriously theres like 20 of them.
I just want some epic or flashy AoE skill for elite skill like another game have
such as higher level Glype of the Storm that create epic AoE damage and
flashy skill effect from 4 attunement

As i say it doesn t make sense i can 1VS6+ in DD and lose to 2 with staff…..(i mean i played 1-80 with staff and switched to DD just since 3 weeks).
Staff Air => improve it so its our true single-target DPS attunement
1) More dmg on Fire Grab
2) Fix RTL
3) Change shatterstone to : 6s CD 1k base dmg 1s shatter delay
4) Reduce delay on Dragon’s tooth, reduce dmg to 1.5k base dmg
5) Increase base dmg of arc lightning
6) Change Fire shield to : Fiery Aura – grant 10s swiftness – 5s burning aura at 2s burning for every hit on you – 40s CD
7) Increase dmg of tornado to dagger storm levels or whirpool at the very least
( how can a spinning skinny monkey do more dmg than a freaking tornado?)
8) More dmg on all other auto-attacks
9) Improve glyphs to decent levels ( save for GoEH and GoES)
10) Better fire traits

Staff solo pve is kittening awesome!
0) Bug fixes….
1) More instantenous skills, even if it means less effect. I can understand casting times on some abilities, like healing rain or meteor shower etc. but on eruption, shockwave, ice spike?…that kitten is needless
2) Trait synergy, seriously.
3) Give us actual elites

Even without that ele’s are fine.
Buff all underwater skills by like 200%. They are atrocious. All of them.
Cut down on damages over time, and put some direct damages back on to Fire trait. Make only one good healing skill, but all decent damaging skills on each Water weapon set. Current water weapon skill sets have too much healing and pathetic damage.
Half falling damage trait: You take half damage when falling and cast a spell based off of your attunement.
Why are elementalitsts the only profession that lacks a trait like this?
I would like to see our bugs fixed… other than that:
Better signets. Some of them just flat out suck. Also they should all be like the wind signet and not have a cast time so you can use them mid-cast.
Reduce a lot of our spell cast times and increase projectile velocity. It is insanely easy to dodge most of our projectiles…. without even using dodge. They also do WAY less damage than rifle/bow attacks which fire 2-3 shots per our 1 shot….
A little more base HP to offset our craptastic raw defense.
An elite skill that doesn’t suck (a signet would be awesome.. I love my signets build, I just wish they were a little better).
Able to make staff more of a wizard and less of a buffer.
Higher ST and AoE damage for less healing and combo fields.
The ST has to be faster in animation, both casting speed and traveling from player to enemy.
The ST skills should also be 1400m range.
The CC actually have to be more effective and last longer. About ever class removes it way to easy, or just dodgeroll out of it/through it
- Better heals in builds other than Staff.
- More combos in builds other than Staff.
Other than that, everything about my Elementalist is good.

More Mask options. I’m tired of they one I use and most of the others look the same as each other.
Optional Auras based on attunement, glowing eyes, and full body auras for fire air and water and some full on rock armor for earth.

elemental based permanent weapons. Where are my flame daggers and my ice staff?!
I only want better elites because while most racial skills just suck i prefer my sylvari elite: take root over any elite we get. I dont like conjures and the tornado, and the glyph is not as good.
Glyph gives 60 sec elemental and 120 cd that starts when it dies or disappears and it always dies before the time is over.
While take root gives 3s invunerable (useful for saving my kitten ) gives about 6 turrets that are able to survive longer than the elemental unless it is a boss with an aoe. The turrets last about 30s i think and cd is 150s that starts immediatly which mean i can use it more often.
i would like to see something that combines all four elements into one elite (maybe something like aang from avatar when he is fighting fire lord ozai XD)

You need to be more specific. Anet just added some stuff to D/D to make that a more viable spec so thats in passable shape now. S/D and Staff need work though. Staff in particular has some stuff that does not synergize well in the Air and Water lines. Fire is probably better off than all other attunements on any weapon while Air and Water are vastly better on D/D or S/D while in Staff they do not stack up nearly as well.

You’d be surprised at the damage you can put out in wind att, it’s actually pretty kitten high unless there’s only 1 mob or they’re close enough to get hit by the same fireball.
No Attunement is weak when it comes to Staff IMO, now S/D is another history.
D/D is pretty balanced overall, it has good dps (not burst) and sustain, but lacks spike damage.
D/D damage without any traits is okay-ish I think. Could be a bit more, but okay-ish. So if you spec completely defensive it’s… well… okay-ish. But our attacks simply don’t scale well. If you go 30 fire 30 air glasscannon with berserker gear your attacks do nowhere near enough damage to justify that you will be 1shot by everyone, even most bunker specs.
Firegrab for example, crits for 1.5-2k in a bunker spec, but only for 5-6k in a complete glasscannon spec (and that’s lucky and against another glasscannon, against bunkers it’s more like 3-4k then). It should crit for 10k or more to be worth giving up all the survivability for it.
Is it ever worth it to go full glass cannon in any class? and by that I mean zerker + 30/30.
Maybe thieves could get away with it but I honestly would never see it work well against anything that isn’t a dummy or mobs.
Thief, Guardian, Engineer can all go full glass cannon (guardian even gets toughness from it’s crit traitline). That’s all the classes I play. Dunno about the other 4.
And with ele you can’t even spec 30 fire 30 air, no matter what amulet you use. Water/Earth and arcane traits are simply NEEDED to survive. Especially all the water condition ones.
Okay, I’ll be a bit more specific: single target damage options are the most lacking to me. AoE options for this class seem fine, really.

With Ele you can’t even spec 10 into Fire :p
Need at least 50 pts into Arcane/Water if you wanna compete at all, 10 into wind if you’re D/D and now you have only 10 points to go nuts and personalize a bit.

Alot more damage on the skills that are extremely difficult to land (E.g Flame Tooth)
Air as a proper single target damage attunement
More options for Staff in PvP other than a full staff bunker build (which is OP and should get nerfed) or staying somewhere hoping not to be targetted (no balanced class/weapon should have to be praying for this)
Make the fire attunement trait points more interesting? People aim for Fire’s Embrace, and that is about it. The options throughout the tree are rather weak and certainly not worth it, considering very few dare go that deep into fire, as you lose an incredible amount of defense. Fire helps out weapon users it says on the homepage. Summoned weapons are a death trap though, and rather weak in many aspects, so noone uses the fire tree to add a meager 10 charges. The skill point should add 10-15% damage instead, but that would not help the weapons in general anyway.

We don’t need a healing nerf so the op can keep that for himself.
RTL for the 1000x and magnetic grasp the self roots/stuns are a real pain besides that this fragile little class cant really handle any sort of big nerf.
