After trying many builds, this one definitely suits my play style. Lots of mobility, decent damage, and decent survivability.

My only weakness is good power/heal Guardians.

I’ll post a video of an unedited match if anyone is interested.

I tried it, but the usefulness of clearing conditions + 3 more might stacks is too useful to let go. At the peak of a 1v1 fight I am up to nearly 20 stacks of might and I believe this is what helps turn the fight in my favor.

Are the runes in your weapon wrong?

Not at all. Granted Quickness is only once every 45 seconds. When it does proc, I can pull off a ridiculous fast combo, especially coupled with Ring of Fire, Earthquake and Churning Earth. Massive damage + 2 conditions + 7 stacks of Might in about 3 seconds.

I really like it. The toughness just keeps you alive while you still deal enough damage when you get a combo down. I was looking for a combination that makes the DD Ele more viable because I think he can be one of the best Damage Dealer in sPvP, but the lack of survivability really made me mad. That’s why I built so much toughness/defensive stuff on runes and amulets, while aiming for an rather offensive trait build.
I really enjoy playing this build.

After giving up and playing a few other classes to try and get a feel for the game I came back to my Ele and am running a build which seems to work quite well for roaming.
I might add that it’s quite different to anything I tried before as Scepter/Dagger…

Notes.

*Lightning Flash can be swapped in to make landing Churning Earth a breeze ~~~.

*Signet of Restoration can be used as the heal but actually using it for anything but the passive destroys the items strongest attribute and I find the burst heal from Water Attunement and Glyph of Elemental Harmony to be far to strong to pass up.

*I Am using Glyph of Elements not Conjure Firey Great Sword but can’t select it in the build editor.

How do you gain the benefits of the weapon swap since elementalist don’t have weapon swap?

My understanding (I have not verified yet) is that the “weapon swap” event occurs when you change attunements.

On swap sigils work on the next attunement swap once their internal CD (i believe most 20s?) is up. Which basicly should mean you get it everytime the cd is up, but pinpointing accurate time when you want said sigil buff is hard.

Pretty generic staff support build, Dwayna runes, Bloodlust Sigil, Cleric amu/gem. Tons of survivability, tons of group support. Swap out elite for elemental if you wish, though Tornado with protection and regeneration up is good way to clear a contested node for neutralize/cap.

This is the Air-focused PvP build I use. I also wrote a guide detailing why I picked the traits and skills that I did and yadda yadda.

It’s primarily for fun, and probably not viable for most situations. But what can I say, I really like lightning.

This build is serving me very well in PvP.
I’ve found that fire and earth have great synergy. With fire’s condition duration, I can get 20+ stacks of bleed on a target. With this much condi damage, that’s total destruction. Conversely, with earth’s condi damage, my fire attunement does THAT much more damage because the burns are just absolute murder.
I do an insane amount of damage in this build and have a lot of survivability. The key to my survivability, I think, is obviously the high toughness, but also a bit of purposeful healing power combined with healing signet and the 30 point earth trait, written in stone, which makes your signet passives still function while the signet is on cd. Basically, I don’t have to worry about losing my heal on cast from the signet. I can just spam the active and always get 275 hp per cast. I’ve thought about swapping the valkyrie gem for the cleric one for more healing on that, but I haven’t tried it yet. This seems to be doing well enough.

The natural flow of battle keeps regen up almost constantly, the heals are great, the condition removal is top notch. The aoe’s are large enough to nearly cover the points, and more often than not people are dodge rolling off the point, making it easier for us to capture it.

I can 3 or 4v1 stalemate a group while everyone else takes points, or lead the charge while we annex a point from defenders.

Until our damage gets fixed, this is what Im rolling with so I don’t just shelve my Elementalist.
