How do you gear and set up your elementalist? Any changes since april patch?

No offense but I dislike these threads. Check out the patch notes, look through the first few pages of the ele forms, and try out some builds. Everyone has their own opinion on what works and what doesn’t.

OP, get enough survivability/toughness and condi cleanse or reduction that you feel comfy with, throw in a pinch of run speed for good measure, and sprinkle as much dps on top as you can. You’ll have to crack a few eggs to find your perfect recipe, as everyone has their own preferred taste.

I don’t have a problem with his question but changes post patch have been posted already. Not a fan of doing the leg work for someone else that is asking the question. I know the trend is to not look past page 1 of a sub forum but most of the discussions are on page 2 or 3.

If you take out the bloodlust sigil weapon you lose the stacks. That’s bAd for ele because you only have 2 weapons and those are very important. For example a thief can stack his bloodlust on his Shortbow and then use d/d or d/p meaning they actually have 1 slot for bloodlust and 3’for others. Eles have 2 sigil slots and 1 can be taken out by bloodlust. This nerf to bloodlust hurt ele the most.
