Please don’t use spell slinger! Unless you go all the way for persisting flames (which is generally for pve or a high skilled staff pvp build) I wouldn’t trait in fire at all.

If you really want to make use of aura share, then I would advise picking up zehpy’rs boon from 10 points in air so you grant fury and swiftness with sharing auras. Still though I feel like cleansing wave would be more useful since it gives you a lot of group/self condition removal, but thats up to you. Divinity Runes are a bit lackluster now, most people run the over-expensive strength runes but some people work with hoelbrak or pack runes on elementalist.

Power Auras as a trait is only good when you build for it. Otherwise the trait itself is subpar and better getting Cleansing water If 6 water or putting points into something else.

If you want to build a support Aura build, your currently not going the right way. Powerful Aura is to share and the best way to do is to get the boon on aura traits. If you become an Aura Sharer, be prepared to be focused more than normal because you being alive improves all your teammates.

I use the following spec http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fFAQJAodhMMKbW5wwBfEBPAC5fvaN6koAFrmE-TJBEwAGeAA23fAwJAgbZAA .

This makes me be supportive with boons, decent bunker, mid damage, mobile, projectile destroyer, loaded invulnerably/Stability stomps. Very good in team fights. Bad in solo fights (would have to hold out for help). Best play is to move back and forth between two points in assisting those that are holding each point.

If you’re willing to part with Elemental Attunement (!) I would recommend a signet/aura support build like this one, making use of Fire’s Embrace: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fFAQJAoYhMMqbW2wtBdEBIAC5l92FUgR1E9A
It’s pretty different from meta ele builds; I used to run this in wvw just for the perma swiftness, but it’s a nice play-style, I think. One thing to remember is that fire aura doesn’t stack duration, so you need to stagger signet pops. Also, this has little survivability so it’s good to run pvt or knights or something.

Thanks guys!
I’ll test your suggestions and decide how to use share aura
I really want use this.

  • Lightning aura can provide extra control ability to all teammates.
  • Frost aura can provide defense to allies and chill foes.
  • Fire aura (fire field + magnetic leap) can grants extra might and burn foes.

I will continue testing and improving

There’s almost no point to powerful auras unless you get zephyr’s boon (already a great skill for D/D without aura share). Or maybe elemental shielding. It’s either one or the other unless you give up EA which I don’t think is worth it.

You’re basically looking at 0/2/0/6/6 or 0/0/2/6/6. Maybe 0/2/2/6/4 for a more passive aura/boon support build.

Aura you trigger by combo (aka magnetic leap °fire field) aren’t shared.

Almost every thing has been said:

Spell slinger => zephyr’s boon (by the way i find this trait very poor without powerfull aura)
Soothing disruption =>cleansing wave. The point in taking soothing is to trigger cleansing water, but since you’re running powerfull aura, you can’t have it ^^

Zephyrus’ build are the best one you can probably get.
The signet spec is non viable, elementalist is always the main target and you sacrified everything into support to survive (notice this: it’s the only build where support != survivability for ele)

Tempest seems made careful not to make ele better in any way, since that would be bad

It does the job well :-)

It’s a neat little gimmick for buffing a group, but I dislike losing Condi clear on regen to basically be a weaker guardian. It does look BA though having your entire group get magneto bubbles.

I’ve never found it worth getting cleansing water on D/D anyway. Auras will be much more mitigation in a team fight, not even counting the offensive capability, but slightly weaker in a 1v1 situation.
