Other than the fact overloading is useless and the whole tempest trait line needs an overhaul, shouts don’t work with Powerful Aura in the water line. This could have made tempest at least a LITTLE more appealing, but it only works with the frost shout. You made me a sad panda ANet -.-. Soooo sad.

aura sharing with shouts is working for me

Shouts already share auras aoe…so the potential value for this trait is already reduced. Powerful auras honestly isn’t GM worthy currently, especially because an “aura build” just isn’t possible with aura traits spread out in every line and almost all being necessary to compete with a simple “arcana” ele.

For powerful auras to be GM-worthy, it should be combined with the new functionality of “auras heal allies” from tempest. That trait is clearly a water trait anyway.

Powerful Aura could be minor trait and GM would be: aura heals you. It is definitely how water trait line should look like. So then tempest have healing from auras..

Stability at end or at start of overload would be something that people maybe would like to see as GM in tempest line.

Actually no. Auras don’t stack in duration, so the second aura simply overwrites the first. Alas.

This was my point of the initial post. I figured due kittens description it would double the aura duration for allies but that only seems to happen with Freeze Yourselves

Devs should which auras stacks in duration and which doesn’t, it should be clearly in tooltips of auras, traits and weapons skills related to them. Or stacking Frost aura in duration wasn’t intended?

We will never no because the developers seem to have abandoned the ele forum for YEARS now.
