Honestly, change the skill. Every 25% health mark you hit, (75% 50% 25%) you remove 5 conditions from yourself. 15 sec cool down. It gives the benefit of condition protection and defense, but you aren’t over powering either side. No too heavy on preventing all conditions, allowing more conditions to be placed, no struggle to kill a target just to apply conditions, and a good balance to allow self sustainment for the ele to heal itself and not have to stay at a certain tier of health. Also if d/d Eles go this route, they give up water or arcane line which is a decent loss but not end all be all so no worries on overpower there.

Thoughts?

With how often our health changes its pretty much a cure 5 conditions every 15 seconds. It could trigger if you have only 1 condi on you too. They should make tiers of -condi duration. -100 at full health to 75% health. -75 condi duration to 50% health. Even that would prob be op

Well I’m not saying for it to trigger each arrival of each tier with internal cool downs. All tiers share same cool down. Course could change it to be 3-5 conditions or 10-20 sec cool down to test it to be right, but much more of a difference and for fights it could be a one time combat effect with some fights not lasting more then 30 secs

Make it so that it removes ALL conditions at the set intervals, each with a cool down of 20 seconds each, that don’t share a cool down and it might be decent.

Honestly that’s a bit overpowered that way. Even the warriors ability to remove conditions based on adrenaline bars used is easily abusable. Especially as a LB war seeing as you don’t have to hit with your burst to remove it like you do with melee weapons. And bursts don’t share cool downs so you can remove 3 conditions every 4-9 seconds depending on build and weapons. So 3 intervals with unique cool downs to remove all would be over powered. If you wanted to balance it like a warriors, I would say 3 conditions at each interval with 10 second cool down with unique cool down timer would be slightly more powerful then warriors, making it worth a grandmaster slot vs the warriors master slot trait.

The problem is, people have too many views based between different game play. Pve, wvw, tpvp, spvp, it’s all different. So you can’t want something to solely benefit one area. You need to balance it for all, and contrary to anyone’s personal belief, you can’t. You can not balance one thing to work with everything AND be good enough to be better then any other class. Balance is never possible seeing as each class has it’s own benefits and strengths. Eles can select dungeons and bosses. Some that most, if not all other classes can’t do. It comes down to the real deal. If someone can do it, and you can’t, you are the problem, not te class you play. Just reroll your character to somethig that is better for your style of gameplay.

Also I personally feel 10 secs is still too overpowered especially for any pvp. I myself wouldn’t agree with less than 15 sec cool downs.
