I started playing an elementalist since the last week and I have a question, can I use the Lightning Hammer with staff ele or it will be a DPS loss? Because I love the hammer but hate the scepter build and I don’t like the staff fire camping rotation at all.

I use the hammer on a fresh air tempest… the idea is to overload air often, on the cooldown switch elements and use the hammer… lightning storm usually brings the critical you need to switch back and overload again … people preffer to use the ice bow tho, cause has more range and deals some good damage. but my advice is, use whatever you have more fun with… I like to use magnetic field+lightning storm+overload+glyph of storms for a third storm… great again inst chaks…and raptors just beware of retaliation.
