Q:
Pyromancer's Puissance
A:
The “must be in combat” explanation makes sense, as I was experiencing problems when testing this trait last night. I assume this is to prevent you from stacking might out of combat in fire and then initiating combat in another attunement.
The ability works for me, you will see the might buffs on your character after casting fire spells.
Is this PVE or PVP? Because I’m trying to use this ability inside of the Mists and it doesn’t seem to trigger.
I know it works in PvE. I couldn’t get the arcane t3 dodge + boon thing to work in Mists either….
Okay, so from what I’m reading. Pyromancer’s Puissance is a Grand Master trait that ONLY works in PVE, but it worthless, completely broken, and doesn’t work at all in PVP Heart of the Mists. Great, that does explain a lot.
Are you in combat? neither this nor evasive work out of combat
Really? There is a “Must be in combat” dialogue somewhere? That would answer a LOT of questions…
They’re both in combat only, go test them by the golems. Not sure why the dodge one is, probably because of the cooldown on the blast effects.
Pyromancer’s Pussiance only works in combat so you can’t stack might like 6 times with autoattack before each fight.
i dont think it stacks up properly in combat, theoretically one could hit 20 stacks of might on there own as a scepter/dagger elementalist during a bossfight assuming the cantrips might + 10 arcana is taken
