Question about sigils of battle/energy
Have you tried them in combat or only out of combat? Because as far as I know, they only work in combat now.
Also, they share cooldowns so if one of them triggers, the other won’t trigger for a few seconds either.
Just trying to pinpoint the problem here…
P.S. hearing things about ascended gear, i know of it but does a exotic setup get smushed by a ascended one? just curious.
Player skill is still more important than gear, however Ascended is reaching a point where you’ll notice the difference. Ascended weapons for example, give a roughly 5% damage boost. There are traits that do as much. You can still get by and be competitive with exotics, but ascended will make things a bit easier on you.

So energy and Battle share a cooldown now? Never knew that, I tried it in combat a few times and it never proced for me.
One thing I do know is that energy procs even when your endurance is full. Combined with the shared cooldown, that may be the reason you’re not seeing any use out of them.

Good info, Yeah I tried it just now with no dodges and nothing procced in combat, kinda upset about it. might send in a petition and see if theres a bug or if its intended.
Not shure if you’re using S/D or D/D… You need to have sigil on both weapons if you wan’t to proc effect from them :/ witch seem silly for meh

Saywhat? Since when?
I try to avoid the canceling-each-other-out phenomenon, whether bugged or intended by using a stack building dagger and replacing it with a fixed stat one (e.g. Force) and keeping just one (Battle) on the off hand.
I wanted to try out Torment/Battle next, but I am reluctant to mess with the shared cool downs so far.
Still keeps a volume of Kurzick poems ;)
If you equip multiple sigils that trigger on the same event, only one of them will trigger (the one on your mainhand weapon , I believe), and they share a cooldown.
Since Sigil of Battle and Sigil of Energy both trigger on weapon swap, you will only receive one of them consistently, and the other never.
(The same goes for sigils that trigger on kill, or on criticals.)
Sigils of the same type share internal CD’s. IE:On Swap sigils, On Crit Sigils, and so on. So you cant run 2 different on swap sigils on one set otherwise the mainhand will cancel out the offhand sigil. I run Sigil of Battle on my mainhand dagger and then force on my offhand
