Question about zerging.
It takes time to get through the rotations but take a good long look at all of your skills and look at how they can work with each other.
Eventually you’ll get used to your rotation and attunement dancing comes second nature to you!

The fact that you’ve mained a frontliner will help you to figure out movements since you’re already familiar with how the melee train works, now you just need to learn to apply that mentality in reverse or learn a few tricks that will allow you push through when a situation calls for it.
You will however need to learn to react incredibly quickly to a situation as the margin for error is significantly lower on your Ele.
Back in the bunker days I played frontline D/D with my guild, usually one of the first into the enemy zerg, but instead of playing tag with your and the enemies melee train you focus more on harassment of the backline and then look for a way to regroup. Now days it’s a little harder to do that and survive but not impossible.
The best analogy I can use is the following: playing a warrior or guardian is like being a rock in a river, your purpose is to smash and divide. Playing an elementalist you are the water flowing in the river and need to learn how to smoothly flow around the rock without being turned into a dam.
I’m not going to get into rotations and why we attunement swap so frequently, you’ll figure that out on your own I’m sure
