Hello all. This is a bit of a newbie question here.

I see combos mentioned a lot in this forum as being important for an elementalist. I certainly know what combos are but I mostly see others getting combo finishers off my fields.

Can any one post what some of our own combos are and with which weapons? I have been enjoying the heck out of d/d but I’m obviously missing something.

I apologize if this is explained somewhere else. I was unable to find an answer looking through the posts. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

D/D is amazing for combos. Ring of fire is your field, earth 4 and 5 are your finishers, and depending on spec, you can also use Arcane Wave as an additional finisher as well as your fire and earth dodge rolls if you spec into evasive arcana.

Thank you! That is what I have been missing. I try to make good use of all the elements but have apparently been going in the wrong order or have not understand how well things can work together.

Although it’s not listed in the tooltip, magnetic grasp (dagger 3) is a leap finisher. If you’re specced into zephyr’s boon or elemental shielding this is a good way to maintain your fury/swiftness/protection boons.

This I did not know. Thanks for the tip.
