Race choice for Elementalist
Super small humans and sravry are not too bad too due to having ok ele elites from the races.

What is “Sravry”?

Sylvari sry i cant spell. Just a trick to deal with ppl seeing you for size realty. As for elites ele dose not have many good ones so being able to use one of the human or sylvari elites tend to be a better chose azren realty do not have a good elite. Ele elites atm are nado elemental pet and FGS. Tempest may changes this but tempest is more of a melee set up then a ranged caster.

Ok gotcha, thanks for the info. I think I may end up going Asura because they are so small
You might miss them incoming, because of their size, allowing them to get positional adavantage and first strike, but tab targeting negates everything else.
I have a bunch of Human characters, two Asurans, and a Sylvari. The Human personal stories are quite varied and interesting, the Asuran personal stories are hilarious, and the Sylvari story is solemn but still quite good. Asurans arguably have a small advantage because of their size, but I can’t imagine that matters much outside of top-tier PvP. As for racial skills, they have niche uses but generally kinda suck (and can’t be used in PvP at all).
How to Condi Reaper on a budget
Everything I say is only in reference to PvE and WvW.
One subtle difference regarding PvP: Cone attacks (drake’s breath, fire grab[!]) are easier to land if you play a larger race. The cone attacks start from a lower point on Asura and a larger portion of the cone hit box points into the ground because of the higher camera angle.
Until that, I’ll play GW2.

Really? Is this actually how it works? I haven’t heard of this before. So if your aiming your character more towards the ground, your aoe attacks will aim “down”?
Sylvari, because racial elite is easily the best elite for ele.
