Radiuses. Radimooses. Radii.
Actually, looking up other support skills in the game like Empower, I’m not really sure why these skills don’t have 600 radius. Why am I traiting for these support abilities if they’re not even as good as basic weapon skills that other professions get?
While I sure would love this, imagine for a second a 600 radius geyser. No, seriosuly, imagine that, then image 10 eles casting it at the same time, then imagine 100 eles casting it at the same time….. wouldn t that be fun visually?! ahahahhaa. Jokes aside, our problem isnt so much that, it is that most (if not all) our moves are easily telegraphed and to top it off incredibly and stupidly easy to avoid even without using a dodge most of the time.
Add poor traits for damage and the little flexibility with triats and utilities and you get the mess that eles are.
When I play guardians I have so many options available, all of them awesome, I can play 100 in a row with different builds and combinations and each time feel different.
Staff ele? little to no flexibility at all..

Not Geyser. I was talking about the non-targeted support skills that radiate out from your character, like Cleansing Wave and Elemental Attunement.
Staff has it’s own separate problems.
In fact, this change would help Staff users, because traits like Elemental Attunement could actually affect allies even when you’re standing closer to the rear of a fight.
