Today I got my very first mechanical keyboard and it’s working like a charm.

The only issue is that the f1-4 keys are to the right of where most other keyboards would be, So attunement swapping has become a real pain. Essentially F1 is like where F2 should be and F2 where F3 would be etc etc and it’s getting annoying.

Wondering if I should return it and get a different keyboard or stick with it and try get used to the keys.

You can map it to other keys. My F1~F4 are Alt+1~Alt+4.

rebind your keys.. mine are like t,7<mouse,8<mouse and 5<mouse

yea i find it helped my playing rebinding, don’t have to reach so far, i use Q (fire), E (water), R (air), F (earth), C (interact), dodge and heal is on mouse side buttons and 7-0 are alt+1 alt+2 and so on

As a guy who owns both a razer black widow (2012 edition), and a razer naga 2014, I prefer to use alt as a modifier key with the naga’s numberpad:

alt+1 = F1
alt+2 = F2
alt+3 = F3
alt+4 = F4

I use the black widow’s macro keys for push to talk voice communications and other things such as 3 button combos (makes the HUD disappear), opening and closing mail, or rebinding a macro button to function as the escape button so my fingers don’t have to travel so far to hit escape.

I use a Razer Naga + a Razer Arctosa. Although it is pretty far from what you got, here are my 2 cents for binds while playing an Ele:

F1~F4 = Z,X,C,V (Easier to reach with your thumb)
1~5 = Stay the same
6~0 = Alt + 1~5
About Face: Q (I find this specially useful to aim Burning Retreat or to help escape faster preceding a Burning Speed or Lighting Speed)
Auto Run: Mouse 4
Dodge: Mouse 5 (I also use shift for this, but I might stop doing so)
Look Behind: Mouse 3 (a.k.a. Middle Mouse Click)
Interact: E
