Guild Wars 2

When I launched game after update, reassigned all traits as my old build and did some testing, my damage output was laughable… I mostly rely on crit damage, and now it’s just hammernerfed.

Don’t wanna burden you with numbers but I’m scratching my head now and have no idea how to reassamble my ele… Any suggested builds for non-condition, high damage output ele with Runes of Strength and Zerker/Power gear or it’s not possible anymore?…
What about Air Magic traits? Is that still viable somehow? Do they force to go Fire Magic traits now (tho I still haven’t found ANY trait worth getting from that line…)?

Edit: mostly speaking about PvE/WvW build.

What was your build before?

Since you rely on crit damage, maybe consider using Sigil of Intelligence? I dunno, just a suggestion.

The new patch completely destroyed my previous roaming and zerging build too. It was a s/d,s/f and staff burst non glass cannon build. This is mostly the tanky and condition meta. It is still very possible to burst without being glassy as I’m trying 3 different builds but i’m still in the testing phrase. The funny part is 2 of the builds doesn’t even require stacking might to burst high.

What was your build before?

0/30/10/10/20 or 0/30/0/20/20. Build editor is updated and some traits have been shifted, so that won’t provide precise info if I post it here. Gear – mostly Zerker.

Lightning Rod is awesome for staff I’ve heard.
Zerker is not an obvious choice as it was for maximum damage, hybrid builds with celestial gear are much more viable, you should try them out.

I’m talking about PvP, but I guess it is the same about WvW mostly.
