Reconsider heals during mist form for PvE.
Also reconsider the RtL change in PvE. It serves absolutely no purpose but to nerf fun. There is nothing even remotely overpowered about RtL in that setting. Honestly, it should go back to 15s. Makes escaping fairly easy, but escaping in PvE is already a joke for anyone.
If you’re really concerned about the mechanics being different and confusing people, then make it 15s when hitting a target in PvE and 20s if you don’t. Same concept, different numbers.
Every single patch there is some pvp nonsense that ruins something for one of my characters in pve, without fail. Usually a bunch of it. Most players don’t even do spvp. It’s extremely frustrating and makes me lose interest in this game.

it will already be 20s in pve so that’s not an issue. Also the devs stated in the sotg thingy that rtl was never intended to be 1500 range. Let me put your argument into perspective.
No point in even having a max range for rtl (or extending the range w/e it doesn’t matter) since it’s pve. Same with warriors and thieves. If you can see where you want to go you should just be able to rush or shadowstep there and not have to waste all that time walking. Why not make engi rifle 5000 range too! Flesh wurm and everything else that has to do with mobility should have near infinite range because this is pve and balance and class specific mobility shouldn’t need to be unique here because this is pve. Can you see how this could escalate fairly quickly?
Same issue rings true with the people who don’t think there should be revealed debuff in pve. Breaking the balance of a game type for the sake of cheesing some content just because it’s pve isn’t an answer.
Lastly, atm pve and wvw are closely linked so breaking it in one area would break it in both. It’s much better to be balanced in both

When did anyone even say anything about RtL range in this thread? And even if they did, what is this slippery slope fallacy garbage? No, people are not going to be clamoring for flesh worm to have 50,000 range just because RtL keeps 1500 instead of 1200. Not that anyone who has posted in this thread even cares. What are you even talking about?
This is an acceptable as a nerf even in PvE there are rarely situations where players can’t out think the AI. There are so few occurrences where you absolutely need mist form healing in PvE that it shouldn’t apply there also. Some nerfs need to happen. There needs to be some sort of gap in big healing for counter play even vs the AI tbh. If the Op wouldn’t mind giving an actual example besides maybe fighting a veteran young Karka where this would even matter.

why just “young”, fight the real thing…
btw, as you can see I didn’t equip Mist Form so it should be still feasible even after the atrocius nerf we are about to face.

“especially when the format has so many ranged mobs that can hit for 3-6k damage, "
Because the young vet has a channeled range skill that hits in that range or more.

I wouldn’t mind the change as much if the warrior’s endure pain got the same treatment…

Actually I don’t disagree invul states should not allow you to heal up. That being said you are still susceptible to conditions while in endure pain.

So are we while in Mist Form right? Conditions don’t disappear…

No what I mean is you still take condition damage while using endure pain. It only blocks direct damage. Its not about wiping you still take it.

Ah, I see. Then again, it also lasts longer AND can be traited for another second, so I don’t find that an acceptable reason not to nerf it also.
Won’t you still be able to start your heal then mist form to stop damage while you heal or prevent your heal from being interrupted? If so, the rotation is just being reversed. Instead of mist form then heal you now heal then mist form right after.
