It seems that Invigorating Torrents which grants Regeneration and Vigor on auras is not working with Cleansing Water’s cleanse on Regen.

It did not work with the
-Staff’s Magnetic Aura
-Elemental Bastion frost aura
-Soothing Ice frost aura
-“Feel the Burn!” aura
-“Rebound!”’s shock aura from Rune of Surging.

Well that’s a major bummer. Vigor and Regen from Auras also don’t show up in the tooltip maybe that’s got something to do with this bug?

Can confirm, the trait doesn’t work with all aura…this explain a lot, was getting more condi loaded than anticipated, was testing builds and didn’t use arcana, this explain my sudden weakness to condi burst…-_-

Already done, to tell the truth I have originally complained about this trait and for that I feel like a fool, the complaint was before discovering the new amulets in pvp…between chronomancer runes, sinister amulet, scrapper runes…yeah

Kinda of ashamed for my blunder but now what’s important is to fix this trait asap, the condi spam in HoT is like 3x worst than before with new amulet and sigils ( quickness on weapon swap for reaper ..GG balance), I feel like invigorating torrents is mandatory if you plan to play Tempest in PvP…or at all

I know some reg effect never worked with the water GM but offten that was more of a “the reg was coming from a pet.”
I think letting it work with the GM would be a neat game chose to make do you take aoe auras or do you take condition removal on auras (or reg over all).
Once they fix this if they do chose to go this way that ppl want d/x tempest will be very powerful in spvp and wvw for low man to 1v1 play (they are good now just more pt aimed).

It’s easily one of the best trait in the Tempest along with Latent Stamina. I am not yet disclosing my builds.

Yeah, while I love IT, I feel more forced than ever now to take Water for the superb synergy. I even feel bad about thinking of taking Powerful Aura now.

Water is different when you’re not forced in Cantrips, by the way. It’s a totally “new water”.

Yes. The duration surely increased. Only in the tooltip. Look at the duration of the condition on your target next time.

I did, and I just tried again with a Vigilant amulet. It didn’t increase the duration applied, it only increased the duration displayed in the tooltip.

Hope they can fix it soon.

Oh God! I’m able to put out 30s+ uptime of vigor for the party with Powerful Auras+Invigorating Torrents! I have to go more support-ish, but it’s an amazing uptime. If you combo this with Latent Stamina, the Tempest can be considered the most evasion-sharing class of all. (at least something we truly excel when spec’ing into tempest).

On a separate note, I’d like to see a rune that focus on burning duration and condition damage, and the last effect could be:

• Upon activating auras you cause burning around you (3.5s, no ICD).
