What kind of problem do “they” have with ele heals? My ele does not heal as well as my guardian does, for instance.

Or they could tone down healing a little without taking it away entirely.

I need a way to compensate for my low HP, rather than have a small HP heal placed there just for appearance I prefer ways to evade/mitigate dmg, knowing Anet they will simply nerf the heals by 50% or more and at that point there is no reason to have them at all

elementalist has light armor and the lowest base hp in the game why nerf their healing too? What we’d be left with is a paper that gets burnt by its own flame. Great mobility but the moment we move in we get blasted to bits.
Healing already is crap if you dont have tons of healing gear… And having tons of healing gear means having no HP or no armor.
Honestly, I love chasing people down in water since we have so many hard CC spells it’s not even funny. I think there’d be a lot more crying on the forums if they copied that on land.
Even though it’s be awesome. And yes, I agree that active evasion/CC is better than just good healing, since it is useful for both offense and defense, while healing is only useful for defense.
Maybe then we would be able to actually shut down and kill them pesky thieves before they stealth and run away. :p

Well, after the nerf they did to burning speed (before burning speed would also give you an evasion component) i doubt they would add this to land.
I’d rather just see what Anet has in mind than give them suggestions on how to make us suck.

evasion doesn’t do anything if you already have a condition on you though.

And control is one of the main features of this profession, therefore we need more control/evasion skills and less healing( if any at all), to translate to other weapon sets what trident has got..it’s not wrong
Frankly most of us just disagree with you arheundel.
And heals are only “OP” on ele when stacking as a bunker and playing player vs circle shoebox map gameplay (tourneys).
