Guild Wars 2

Hey everyone! I think the title says it all, but if you desire more text to read here it is: I almost exclusively play games for their pvp content. The only 80 I have is an elementalist (since I am such a wimp when it comes to getting through PvE content), but I thoroughly enjoyed myself as a warrior, necromancer, guardian and rogue in Spvp.

After the Elementalist nerfs the class always seemed meh to me and is the ultimate reason why I moved on (about a year ago). I am hoping to get myself hooked again and this time around I want to get into WvWvW.

Is Elementalist going to do it for me?
I am used to dominating pvp in Rift and I am a diamond player from League so I have decent twitch reaction, will any of it transfer over?

Ele is awesome for people with good twitch reaction

This is a very bad place to ask that….. My recommendation is to find in WvW, an Ele player that successfully do great in all areas within WvW and ask him/her that question. I’ll say it once again the Ele is a very powerful profession for WvW roaming and zerging but it takes time to actually be successful. Only time…..nothing more nothing less.

Try to look at videos about other classes. Surely you may feel yourself good in wvw roaming since 80% fights are against servername Assaulter or upleveled zrgling, but when you meet real and atleast halfbad wvw dedicated player you’ll know ele’s place in universe.
At least you always have your fgs to run away (if not killed outright by thief – and there are a lot of thieves in wvw), thats good enough, right?

In spvp situation is even worse
