I’m talking about the x/D and water traitline nerfs. The fact that we’re forced to spend atleast 20 points into water even after the balance team decided to nerf it to the ground says aloooot about our survivability.

They can t admit their mistakes…they will rather delete the profession or change everything in it (like they are doing) rather to admit they were wrong.

GW2 balance:
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

Incase that was not sarcastic … all of them:

  • autoattack and Arcane Wave/Blase damage nerfs in the beta
  • Whirlpool -30% damage
  • RtL, the only gap closer with penalty for running away or missing
  • removal of stun breakers from Cleansing Fire/Lightning flash
  • removal of speed boost from Mist Form, Mist Form locks utilities as well
  • ICD on Cleansing Wave, but that gets undone
  • nerf on Signet of Restoration (gets undone as well?)
  • Elemental Attunement, Cleansing Wave and Soothing Disruption moved to master tier

Have I missed something?

I can’t wait until ANet releases the game promoted in the manifesto.
Until that, I’ll play GW2.

Yeah you missed many:

recent:
RTL was diagonal (because nothing but warrior should be able to jump obstacles) unconditional 15 sec 1500 range was nerfed 5 times not 1

Earth 3 dagger was another gap closer (skill changed to reduce mobility)
Updraft was a launch couldn t be stunbroken until landed on the floor
ICD put on evasive arcana
evasive arcana was blast in all attunements.

My all time favourite
Glyph of renewal was able to ress dead people, was faster and affected NPCs.
The latter was nerfed on every class except one… (can you guess wich?)

In Beta
the knockdown on meteor shower
Lot of CD doubled
Scepter fire was stronger
Focus was different

And many Others i forgot.

Personally, I like the current version more. Before that change, Magnetic Grasp was a 1s self-stun at the target. Now I can choose between immobilise alone and immobilise+buggy leap

The only two viable builds are the classic DnD ele with cantrips and the Staff ele.

This hasnt changed for along time now and i dont see any changes significant to impact those two styles.

The only two viable builds are the classic DnD ele with cantrips and the Staff ele.

This hasnt changed for along time now and i dont see any changes significant to impact those two styles.

S/D & D/D were the main pvp builds.

After 1,5 years they reverted what they did?

Glyph of Renewal changes since release:

  • Glyph of Renewal could rezz dead players and dead NPCs but was bugged in several attunements
  • Then they changed that it could rezz dead people but kept that it could rezz dead NPCs (so this part always worked) – bugs still existent
  • Then they changed the mechanic of the Glyph by adding ground tageting and fixed the bugs the glyph had in several attunements, rezzing dead NPCs still works

Maybe I missed out on something, but I can’t remember the rezzing of NPCs not working at any point… And really, rezzing DEAD players is OP and should not be possible for any class.

EDIT: The cast time has also been reduced, but in my opinion it should be further reduced to the 2 seconds the Battle Standard has…
