I am thinking about a new Bunker Build, which is 0/0/20/20/30. 20 in Earth ofc will be for Rock Solid. The reason for me to pick it up is Stability in Rock Solid is good for stomping as well as escaping plus helping your teammate. I have tested it and it is only good if you are bunk mid, roaming is hard since u lost Swiftness, if you are back Bunker, it will be a wasted for Rock Solid. So I want to ask community is it worth it to take Rock Solid over 30 pts in Water? Thank you.

I personally love Rock solid over the 30 in water, as the stability makes earth—>ether renewal awesome, in addition to the other things you mentioned. I also can’t recommend signet of air enough. Roaming it is good to get where you need to, while the stun-break and blind in combat is awesome. Blinds are crazy good now, and this one is instant and aoe. It is so useful to the last second of Churning Earth or when you are getting a little bit of focus.

With Rock Solid, your team-mates get the stability as well, which is very important with all the fear and other cc’s flying around right now. Guardians are no longer so far away in the stability dept.

It is a pro con kind of thing. 20 earth means you gain stability for yourself and your allies. 2s base and more if you have boon duration runes. While you lose out from aura share + perma swiftness & fury to allies (10 air, 30 water). So it really depends on what you want and your group’s need. The patch made it so that you sacrifice a bit to gain something else by going 20 earth versus 30 water + 10 air.

Both can be solid so just know what you bring to the table by going one over the other and just make a choice

I’m actually using that trait setup, but not with rock solid but with stone splinters and geomancers freedom. Works kitten well.
