Unless you’re raining hell on the enemy team from far away while your team is keeping them busy. That’s fun. But otherwise. Run. Run Lola Run.

Depends on what are you doing on your ele, really. Today I was testing a condition/toughness/healing build in pvp in which I just had to jump in a mob, use bleeding and burning skills and people would fall, killed a guard just by spamming earth 1! Sure it’s obviously better to run around keeping yourself safe, but it gets boring sometimes, so I guess an ele that stands still is perhaps a valid option… Or perhaps I’m just a Lola that doesn’t run.

Thieves love stationary targets… so I wouldn’t stand still even if you think you’re safely removed from the melee.

In PvP . Yes, thats Elementalist tactics 101, keep moving, dodging and evade all attacks. It does make sense since we are kinda wearing a bathrobe and it does reward people who react faster or can predict enemy moves/actions instead of going guardian style and stand still as a rock which is boring as puppy (<- the new kitten)
