Guild Wars 2

My old D/D was my favorite class in this game about a year ago but since then, he’s not see much play time in GW2. I’m trying to bring him back now that I have a full set of celestial gear but I’m not sure what runes I should put in those. I’ve heard that holebrak or travelers were the best to go with these days.

Any suggestions?

Well you can try out whatever you want in the mists, as your PvE gear doesn’t matter there and runes are free.

For WvW, the “best” choices are:
Strength (more offensive)
Hoelbrak (great with -duration food especially)
Pack (excellent stats, will get you to perma swiftness/fury)

Interesting:
Radiance is interesting if you want to play an aura-heavy build

Cheap:
-Privateer
-Flame Legion
-Fire

It depend on what part of the game you prefer. PvE, WvW Zerg or WvW Roaming?
