Q:
S/F weapon skills
A:
DT:
1. combo it with gale
2. use it on yourself if you expect thief to attack you
3. Use it to stack might if enemy is doing some bs like invulnerable
4. Area denial
Shatterstone:
??? useless
Comet:
1. Damage, can be cast w/o line of sight
2. Interrupt, use it if you expect enemy to cast something you don’t want them to cast
-thief HS for combo stealth
-engineer coming out of invulnerability elixir – time it right so it hits just after invulnerability ended
-interrupt ressing
-interrupting long cast spells such as Eternal Renewal
-removing rangers Shared Anguish so you can gale combo
-can proc Lightening Rod
?Increases damage of air attunement, lightening strike if you have Tempest Defence
DD:
-dude it’s long range, short cast, damaging blind. Sure it’s not a very good skill. But hey throw it out randomly and it can mess up with enemy combo. It can crit and proc fresh air so meh.. just use it on cd.
Thank you for the advise!
Just to add to what Nutshel said:
Shatterstone:
- Randomly spray the ground with aoe when you think a thief got downed inside Shadow refuge but there isn’t someone around to res him.
Yes, that is super-duper specific, but it happens every now and then. No, it is not worth having a weapon skill specifically for that, but that is its use.
shatterstone is absolute trash
auto-attacking in water is better, since you have more chance to crit and proc fresh air, or heal if youre using healing signet.
you can literally avoid shatterstone by walking backwards and not get hit.
even if you hit with shatterstone (which i assure will most likely not happen) you only do around 1.2k on a crit
