SOAC Gaming is putting on an event for all of our podcast fans. This Thursday at 5:30pm PST to 8:30pm PST we will be hosting an all profession specific tournaments.

We currently have an EU and NA Necromancer Tournament Team running on Thursday.

Sigh, perhaps I am not explaining how it works well.

We currently have the following professions signed up.

Rangers – 4
Necros -10 for both NA and EU
Mesmers – 3
Ele’s – 0
Engineers – 0
Warriors – 0
Thieves – 1
Guardians – 3

The idea is to have a team of 5 of each profession doing tournaments, strategizing, and talking about possible builds.

Haha, I think the only profession that has no one signed up to represent the elementalist in this profession specific tournament queing. We have a Ranger team, two Necro teams, a Guardian team, a Mesmer team, almost an Engineer Team, 2 short of a Thief team, and 3 short of a full warrior team. Totally floored that I can’t get a single elementalist.

Tonight Thursday April 25th at 5:30pm PST to 8:30pm PST

I will be pming the participants our mumble information so they can get on and use it. We have plenty of spots, and are pumped by the responses so far. We will try to do a general get together for about 10 minutes before hand to give everyone a clear idea as to what we are doing, and see about getting a group Picture of everyone who is taking part in the event ahead of time.

This is for NA we don’t currently have an EU version going for Ele’s

I could be interested in doing this if I don’t end up doing anything with my guildies.
If I do end up coming I may end up bringing a few of my guildies with me! :P

We are running 5 man tourney teams of each profession. You can pick your favorite profession and run with 4 other guys of your same profession.

Essentially we will run all the teams at aroudn the same time queuing up and then seeing if we run into each other or a bunch of solo queuers and so on.

Oh, well then I’ll get back to you guys very soon, I’d pick Guardian or Warrior probably

I am actually more afraid of the ranger and Mesmer teams (the sheer amount of clones is going to get crazy!)

Next time we hope to get a few more players so we can do it without all the headaches.

The goal was to have fun, and enjoy the time running around. As far as I am aware, Everyone had fun!

On April 25th, sittingonacouch.com put on a Tournament extravagana that had never before been seen in Guild Wars 2. 30 players showed up and formed 5 specific profession teams. It was a great time full of fun. Here are some of the videos of those matches!
